I understand Clover's feeling about Alyssa's treatment because she's from the USA. But It's hard to deny how Alyssa was really supportive of the other girls and really suprised me being so far from the egotistic american cliché! Some tea on Soa talent number : it's a show she performs in her cabaret, and you can check the full number on youtube and it's amazing! The shorter version did work a little less but she was so true to herself, and I love she stayed true to herself in these looks and talent show. Great review! I thought the editing was so klunky. Like, they kept cutting from scene to scene in a very choppy way, and the episodes didn't really have a natural flow to them. Everything in the first episode felt quite rushed because they did 10 minutes of runway introductions, then preparing for the talent show, then the talent show itself, then the runway, then the lip sync, and we hadn't even found out what the format was yet because it wasn't explained to us until *briefly* in the next episode. Some of the talent portions had confessional introductions before the performance, others didn't. I was just very confused.
