Thank you. I have the LP's but it's lovely to hear them on line. The very very end music closing it all out really moves me. I've never been able to find a source for that music.. The LP versions are different to all others, and as far as the internet is concerned don't exist. There are some very unique music in the album versions. Occasionally they feature in my dreams in strange ways.

As a kid I used to loan the double cassette from the local library. I listened to it countless times. It has the best readings, and the best narrator by FAR Peter Jones and the nest music.

I always thought the modulation distortion on the end music was due to me having a home recorded tape copy

I must have had a different tape (that got equally distorted :) as the version I remember played out with that song Its a Wonderful World..

@@danskkr the radio version, I first had the album version and fell in love with the radiophonic workshop sounds and music that weren’t in the radio version. I didn’t hear the radio version until a few years ago. ALL THE MUSIC IS WRONG!!!!🧐😂 I’m not too sure if the sound effects are different, I never listened again 🥸
