The comet has left Portglasgow due to not being maintained over the last few years. 11/4/23 comet has been taken away.

Watched this from my window, in former house , being put on display again , now left to rot by uncaring council, got to save her part of our maritime history, rebuild and give her pride of place at GLASGOW'S transport museum after all part of Clyde's history to , just a thought, at least the Scottish weather wouldn't get at her . This does not compute! From this renovation to a derelict wreck in 10 years does not make sense. The abandonment of our heritage by the council is unbelievable! This, along with the neglect of so much of our town makes you wonder if this is a deliberate run down of the area.

And yet again just ten years on its been left to rot and needs major work done to it sadly. Money spent on roundabout statues that could have been spent here.
