Extraordinary. Inexplicably good. Better than God since not even God can predict the future with 100% accuracy. That's my problem: correctly predicting what the AI is gonna do for a long period of time & act accordingly. You can not cancel a strike & counter instead. You'll get hit anyway but playing this way to the point where you eliminate the need for countering is commendable & inexplicable.

Must admit though that luck plays a considerable part here, you can manipulate the AI up to a certain limit and play the game mechanically perfect, proper timing for critical strikes, good positioning etc., but it takes hundreds of attempts to have everything aligned, specially the things you can't control Once you understand how the AI works in combat and what you need to do mechanically the only factor left is RNG (luck) Take that out of the way and you just need commitment and a lot of patience

Did you use any cancel animation? I swear even how fast I smash the button there is no way the characters move one to another that fast without some slow-mo or need to wait until move animation ends.

Now days you need to patch the game on PC with a gameplay file that was modified after The Batman skin was released and removed fast paced combat from the game (afaik it's working normally on consoles) Overall what you need is to completely avoid button mashing, every perfectly timed Critical Strike will build speed and give +3 to your combo, the max speed is achieved when you get to x60 combo without missing any Critical Strike Strike > wait for the animation to end > strike again If you're console it should work, try build a x60 without missing any Critical Strike and you should notice the increase in speed If you're on PC you'll have to wait a bit unfortunately, got a lot on my plate lately but I'll provide the patch for PC to bring back fast paced combat to the game

Does the x60 critical strike counter restart whenever you use counter? So basically, are you compelled to do 20 straight critical strikes before the speed mechanic kicks in?

How do you make your combo rack up like that?
