Expect the worst, hope for the best. You're either always right or pleasantly surprised. As someone who deals with major health anxiety and who visits the ER very frequently because of self diagnosis. I can see how frustrated you are with not getting a clear answer as to wtf is wrong with you, it drives you crazy when you constantly get all these tests just to be told everything is fine. Makes you feel absolutely crazy and it drives you up the wall, I understand what it's like just wanting some damn answers as to whats wrong with me. Glad you got this checked and it came up clear dude

my dad in 2020 had a colonoscopy, and found out he had rectal cancer. THANKFULLY, they caught it super early, no symptoms. he turned 60 and his doctor recommended he get a one done. He is alive today because he caught it.

Just went through colon prep 3 times in the past 2 months. If I never see Gatorade or Miralax again I will be quite happy! After a battery of tests it was concluded to be adhesions from prior surgeries. I just went in for surgery last Wednesday and there was a small kink in the colon which the surgeon straightened out and adhesion surgery was done. I go back to the Surgeon this coming Monday. I am hoping this took care of the issues I was having. I surely hope you find answers as well. I had 2 CAT scans, one with an IV. I also initially had an incomplete colonoscopy because he could not complete it saying there was a stricture. I then had to have a virtual colonoscopy which was NOT fun. Adhesion surgery not fun either and the operating table absolutely killed my spine so I am hoping this is it for a long time. Wishing you all the best and that you feel better soon and your situation is resolved!

I had a colonoscopy a couple of months ago due to several colon cancer symptoms. Ended up having severe diverticulosis throughout my colon. Trust me the prep is a nightmare. Procedure piece of cake

My first diagnosis was ileitis ulcerative colitis, which turns to cancer that was when I was 18 when Covid started I went in and had my test done woke up to the news that I had stage two colorectal cancer I went in the beginning of Covid for the surgery in an hour the hospitals formonths and I am on the colostomy bag for the rest of my life. It’s no fun. Please keep your colonoscopy appointment.

I had similar symptoms and went through the ringer of tests. A year went by with no answers. Finally a dr send me for a hida scan to test the gallbladder. It only squeezes 19% after a meal. That was the issue. I just watch what i eat now, smaller but more meals a day. Eventually it will habe to be removed but diet change is helping a lot.

There are pills that your doctor can give you for a prep. I had a colonoscopy back in July and this was probably my 7th or 8th. I had severe diverticulitis and finally had a colon resection two years ago. I live in E. TN and my doctor works out of UT Hospital. He’s a wonderful surgeon.

Just because they can’t find anything, doesn’t mean nothing is wrong. Clearly you are dealing with SOMETHING. This just rules out colon cancer and probably IBD, which means you are one step closer to the answer. I know it is SOOOOOO frustrating, I have been there and still going through something similar with my health. I also have cancer but its not related to my symptoms I am currently having. It looks like some autoimmune disease and those are really hard to diagnose.

Had IBS since I was 17. Went in just because 7 months ago to have a colonoscopy done - they found a large polyp, precancerous. GI basically said good shit with the instincts, this could have been bad news a few years down the road. Get the scope done. You go to sleeo and wake up "immediately". Nothing to it.

I have digestive issues. Irritable Bowel. I had Diverticulitis. Got a colonoscopy and I had a polyp. It would have turned into cancer had it sat there. Now I am considered high risk. Have to get colonoscopy every 5 years. Last one was good so now I can do 10 years. They prescribed me some stuff that tasted like nasty lemon lime and I fasted the day before and my bowel were clean!

FYI: I had severe left sided pain & increasing nausea in 2005 and it turned out that was my gallbladder. It’s called deferred pain & it’s not a common occurrence, but it does happen-so to be on the safe side you may want to get the easy 5 minute CT scan to rule out your gallbladder. Anyways once my gallbladder was removed I felt better almost immediately & as I looked back I realized that I had had mild symptoms over a 3ish period of time which slowly built up to major ones. Because my pain was on my left side even though they couldn’t find the cause they still downplayed & ignored the multiple, several of which were huge gallstones in my gallbladder as the cause-however, after I read the report I immediately talked to my doctor and he told that I should have it removed, because it could very well be the problem and it was. Anyways something to consider 🤔🤔

I _hate_ colonoscopies! Had Cologuard every 3 years for almost 2 decades until a positive finding two years ago. Then had to get the gold standard test - colonoscopy. They found a 10cm pre-cancerous adenoma which they removed. I thanked my GI doctor for saving my life because he caught it early. It was completely asymptomatic. He said that a few more months wait we would be talking adenocarcinoma!

I have colonoscopy and had done since I was 8 or 9. It is sad because I get bullied at work. I explained that I have a medical reason and that I should have the right to use the toilet. The first set of managers allowed me and it was written by me on the form. We had the mangers change over and the new ones that took over are strict about me using the loo. But they allow those without medical reasons to use the loo as and when they please. I should be allowed to use it when I need to and they should only be allowed to use it for a certain period of time and not the other way around.

I hate doing any colonoscopies. I have had way too many of them in life. I have only gotten diagnosed over and over with IBS C & D and lactose intolerant. My son 25 years old had the same issues. He did the colonoscopy test too and he got the same diagnosis IBS C & D and lactose intolerant. IBS sounds like it isn’t that bad it is absolutely horrible some days.

8:30 Man… Y’all need better options in Jersey. The colonoscopies for my UC are done at the hospital. My wife waits out in the lobby. The whole process for stripping down to being done is maybe an hour? My wife gets to come back to be as I’m getting my clothes back on, and then we meet with the doctor to discuss what she saw. And then (because hospital policy) I’m rolled out in a wheelchair to the car. It doesn’t look like they did any of that for you!
