What is lacking with Mechanical Engineers today, is the knowledge of how to design mechanisms correctly. Did know that there's a mathematical formula that can be used for all mechanism designs? It's called Gruebler's Count. I found a way to make it practical for all 3D mechanisms. Here's the link if you are interested. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXelaZqDn913hs0

I'm a EE, I don't work for Tesla but I work for one of the biggest municipal utilities and my resume and work experience looked nothing like this. Don't let this get you down. Out of college I felt the same way, was told that since I had no internships and no 4.0. that I couldn't get a "good" job. So I took the first offer right out the gate, under paid and no real engineering work. Used that experience to spruce up my resume and now working where I've always wanted to end up

I like your Resume. May I ask you some questions? I studied electrical engineer Bachelor of Engineering in Germany. But in Germany it was impossible to work as an engineer before having a bachelors degree, so only interns were possible. How did you work as early as second semester of your bachelor study as an engineer? Is Canada different than Germany (and if so, I should probably leave Germany to get better opportunities for my kids in the future)? How did you have so much knowledge about everything right from the beginning of your studies? Greetings from Germany

The 1-page resume is such a myth. I got my first job with a resume of 2 pages. On top of that, it was my first time applying for a job. Some of my tips would be the following --------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Fill in as much relevant information as possible. 2. Don't be scared to add images, as Tamer did. Humans are visual creatures, having something visual about your work is an instant hit. Showing that you've done something, and making sure that the reader of the resume is able to imagine all of that visually, is always a really really big plus. Always! 3. Don't fake anything on the resume. So basically, you should be writing things on your resume, which you actually did. Not something you never had any understanding/knowledge of.
@JiffiJiffJeff2 жыл бұрын
When it comes to your portfolio, how do you work around most things being proprietary property? I feel that getting images of CAD models of projects you've worked on for a company for your personal portfolio is a big no-no.
