I often don't give streamers/gamers a ton of credit, but I must admit, you showed a side of the industry that more people need to see. That it's not just an elitist group of spoiled kids; but a tight knit community filled with love and compassion. I've been involved in many charity events over my 50 years and I have to admit, yours was one the best I've seen. You really impressed me, Jack. I am saddened for your loss, my heart is heavy for everyone affected by this horrible situation in the world. You brought some light to these dark times. You did well in using your platform for this purpose. I am happy that so many people stepped up and participated. On a side note, I was very disappointed that many others in the gaming community didn't participate or donate. Even if not for a humanitarian standpoint, but even from a business perspective where it could have been used by them to promote themselves and your group. Mr. Beast knew this. He could have donated using his own name, not his online persona. I won't mention names. Lets just say, they should have done something. Next time, may I suggest you consider challenging them to put up some $$ directly. You know all about the power of the 'call to action'. Perhaps a charity tournament? $x buy in. Open it up to the biggest names, even those you may not know (their sponsors can put up the $$ if they won't). 50% of the $$ goes directly to the charity, and the rest to the winner/s. during the whole tournament ,raise money - give aways, A signed Ninja poster itself might be worth a lot to people. Game keys; in game credits, shirts, products, bags. I am sure a lot of companies would board the courageous train. The personalities could also use the time/platform to raise money as well on their streams as well. People can vote on who they want to see. Top donator each hour gets to select who plays whom, in some manner. Could be a lot of fun for everyone. Especially the fans, and those who would benefit from such an event.
