The fact that Seungjae never said anything about Sua being heavy and just kept on doing his best to pull and push her up the slope makes me want to cry. He never said it outright during the competition. That moment when Sua said 'why me?' When seungjae chose her was just-- Its fine to say that she eats well because whenever I see her eat, I want to eat too. She makes everything appear delicious. But repeatedly calling her heavy makes me want to rage. Don't do that to me sweet shy princess.

Props to Seungjae’s dad for raising him in a way that doesn’t change the kids’ bias towards certain things. I know Sian’s dad might tease them with regards to their appearance and such but it changes the kids’ mentality and confidence.

To everyone complaining about Donggook’s parenting, please stop. He never said anything about Sua being overweight or fat. The narrators and the editors of KBS made those comments. When he went to see the psychiatrist with his kids, he stated that he was worried about Sua because she was eating way more than she used to, not that he wanted her to lose weight. He’s always encouraged his children to eat, especially Sua, and I think its understandable to see why he would be worried if she’s overeating her regular portion size. As for Sian’s competitiveness, he’s still a child. I think everyone’s cried from losing before. Donggook even told Sian that it’s not a big deal and in the past, told him that failure is okay as long as he gets back up. I don’t think Sian meant anything mean when he said that Sua is heavier. He wanted to win and he knew that pushing Seola up would be easier than pushing Sua up since she is lighter. He was thinking strategically, not being mean. Raising five kids is hard, and it’s especially difficult to do it under cameras, so please be mindful of the comments. This is a reality children’s program, so please understand that everyone is not perfect and that the parents are all doing their best to become better.

Totally agree! I've lost respect for Dongkuk because of things he has said about his children on this show. It shows he is extremely closed minded and Sua will likely have a lot of insecurities, mental health issues and trauma from his treatment that will carry with her into adulthood. I feel that sian got raised in a too competitive environment. Like when seungjae was struggling with pushing sua sian didnt go back to help him even when he got 1st place. Meanwhile jae stopped his track to go back help sian who was screaming to be await for by Jae and ended up crying when he did got last. I do like seosudae appa but I feel like he raised them in a too strict approach for children and too conservative too bit I guess it how korea is I dont really know
