They are very good at being parents. When the dad said “we take them away from their siblings because when they get in trouble or yelled at in front of their siblings, they feel shame and we don’t want them so feel that way” I wish my parents do this to me because my mom yells and scold at my sister in a nursing home hallway. I felt bad for my sister because lots of people looks at us :(

They all had their tough times but I think Daehan really did well. Staying at the bottom, he kept his position so well that all 3 of them were delivered safely. It really is such a good idea! And so simple, it's surprising a lot of parents don't think of it (or maybe just don't care 😣). Because I remember my parents did this a lot to me and my brothers; being scolded and punished in front of each other WAS embarassing, and it does kinda subconsciously plant the idea that you're the "bad sibling." It garners an unconscious competition/heirachy amongst you, and often there's underlying resentment, ie. "my parents scold me more than my siblings, so they love them more than me".... tdr it's just an example, and my traditional upbringing was a long time ago lol

I think it's primal instinct right there. Since Daehan is the firstborn, he naturally feels that he should be responsible. It's not that he doesn't get attention, it's because it's too difficult to actually see everything that these three do. Even Minguk has these moments.

I’ve been reading a lot of comments of how they feel sorry for Daehan because the dad gives more attention to the younger siblings even tho they are the same age but if you watch closely, Daehan, he himself chooses to step up to the plate and plays the role of the bigger brother for his younger siblings. The whole backpak situation shows it all. His dad didn’t tell him to go get the bag, he just did it because his dad was busy trying to take care of his younger brothers and it was almost as if he felt he needed to take care of his dad because no one was helping him with the three of them. It’s like it’s instinctive for him to act that way. And him having to do things by himself, I don’t think it’s true because he can choose to wait for his father to teach him something but he chooses to do it on his on. For example when he wanted to go into the water and the dad was busy with the other two. He could have waited longer for his dad as he approached the water, but you tell on his face he didn’t want to wait lol.

I would say it’s because the parents have conditioned him to act like a Hyung to his younger siblings. Like in ep 1, his father would instruct him to read a story to his brothers while the dad needs to cook. In other little ways, I thk that’s how Daehan learnt that he needs to help to monitor and take care of the younger ones

I think that's impossible to not admire Ilkook. He haves such a beautiful devotion, care and love for his kids that it warms my heart everytime. I love the way he disciplines the boys, I admire so much his patience! They're such a beautiful family! I hope someday I could find a husband like him 💜 The boys are adorable, I love them so much! They made me so happy in a very hard time, they're so pure.

I like how they show Ilgook reflect on his mishaps. It’s obviously really hard to raise a child, especially triplets so I really appreciate them showing it. I think it’s also reassuring to know that he isn’t a perfect dad but is trying to improve and learn how to raise his sons.

please don't make it appear that the father played favorites. i have observed that he always paid special attention to the child that needed it most during certain situations, not because one is the eldest, or the strongest. each of these kids showed their own charms, their strengths and their weaknesses. i admire Il Kook for having done his best in these early years of his children's development. i am sure these kids will grow up as kind, loving, and smart adults.

as a firstborn, i really do feel for Daehan. oftentimes, he had to try new things by himself or do things by himself because Ilkook had to tend to Minguk and Manse. especially when they walk together and Daehan is always tasked to hold Manse's hand. even with that though, i really commend Ilkook and Judge Jeong for recognizing Daehan all the time. i shed some tears when Ilkook mentioned how Daehan stayed underneath his brothers for 8 months in the womb and how he stayed so strong up to now.
