I will learn from this great master... It is my destiny.... My wife just recently died... I am broken and lost... I know that i can heal myself with hand pans... And eventually learn to heal others... These pans are the gateway to the soul... And my journey in life is to give away that joy to as many people as i possibly can... Be the change you want to see in the world.. Someday our paths shall cross....

You create beautiful atmospheres, congratulations. What scale can you join when playing two handpans? thank you
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for listening. Well, that depends on what the player wants to sound like. U can think of having a 2nd instrument with completely different notes that will give you definitely more possibilities in terms of chromaticism. Or a 2nd instrument with the same scale in a different octave would create an extension of the scale of the 1st instrument.

@ Thanks for the help. I like introspective meditation music, and I own an instrument in D minor, and it's made of nitrided steel. Thinking about a second tool, what do you recommend as a ladder? another question in your opinion can I match the second stainless steel tool. N.B. I liked your thoughts on how you want to use handpan to be good for people. Paolo

@@paolotortora9711 Hi Paolo, me I combine a D Minor Kurd 16 with a Raga Deshya Todi in E. Yo are able to create different scales with this combi. After a short time you will have the skill of combining the right notes to nice chords or to scales full of tension. Of course there´s a limit because of small number of notes, but it is nice to play, and D and E fit together. Hope it helps you in your decision. here you can see this combi scale, kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXTSipKlZrCSqsk ...........or visit my channel.

@@pantamrobin2341 Thanks Robin for your help. I hadn't specified my instrument in D min it has 9 notes. Robin and what do you think about playing with a nitrided steel and stainless steel instrument? Paolo
@pantamrobin23413 жыл бұрын
@@paolotortora9711 Yeah this thing to answer is tricky, cause the stainless instruments have a longer sustain, similar to a rav drum but the lenght ot it is depending on the maker I think. So I prefer nitrited ones, but I see the advance for example if you attend to travel longer with your pans or your destination is close to the ocean, then you have probably less problems with rust on your handpan.
