I’m tempted into buying that DA skin with the gems I got from character grinding but I’m not sure if there’s going to be something else good coming up. Li Mei is really fun but man she needs you to know frame data. Not sure if this tip is needed but her F4 is secretly scary when you mix and match it alongside F3, either you commit to the drop kick or hold the button to fake out your opponents.

I'm late to the party but you can get them to hit laterns with i think its b34, the second kick has enough launch to hit it and is +7 i believe. It is a slower startup but could be a good mix option so the db3 doesnt get predictable. Even if they start blocking low a lot you have a few overhead options and it seems people forget that the f+rb kameo is overhead and can easily get a 35+% combo using normal strings.

Anyone on PS5 actually able to get 2 lanterns off in a row in a combo? I've played a lot of li mei and have never gotten 2 lanterns in a row to come out since the beta. She just uppercuts on the 2nd input🤔

The first lantern needs to be exploded or disappeared in order to use second one. So when u combo to lantern. The enemy must hit the first lantern then immediately you make another one. If the first still exists you won't be able to get another one and instead u will get an uppercut.

she just has rlly good combos with him, not much utility. my favorite part of this game is experimenting with weird teams. while with li mei i mainly play scorpion i still think stryker, shujinko, and goro so far are good also

Super your combos aren’t optimal dawg and your damage is low for her potential. Stop using two lanterns one after the other instead spread them out in an optimal combo. She can easily do 50% damage with one bar. If you don’t believe me check out my latest Li Mei combo KZbin video I swear you won’t be disappointed
