The best part about The New GHorn is that it give wolfpack rounds to all legendary roclets in the fireteam. So people can happily run a witherhord or something with an auto loading rocket, doing infinity DPS.

I said this about Vex and I'll say it about Gally, too. The way they reinvented the weapon without actually murdering what made it so unique and powerful in the first place is phenomenal. Bungie is iffy with these things, but holy shit when they do it right, amazing things happen.

Gjally is so good in DPS that it is very competitive with linears / FR who have their Particle to clutch on. Without particle? Well in terms of burst, it will be among the highest, only let down by rockets lower ammo reserves (lower total damage).
