Nick Mcgrath Then you already know the answer ;-) FAF is way more complex and offers much more options how you can play. Additionally you'll see that the graphics style looks more realistic. I'm not sure if sup com 2 is played in multiplayer at all anyways.

Hey brink thanks for the great vids. One question i am trying to get in supcom faf. But how do i get into it without beeing shouted ad of beeing a noob. Or playing some kind of noob mode. Only land etc.

Levi van der molen i can recommend to play the coop campaign (you can play it alone too btw). Don't forget to switch it to medium difficulty before you start since hard is really hard and totally will kill you. The best thing to do is building a lot of units to win these while keeping the count of your defenses low. Turtling (building big bases with lots of artillery/nukes) is considered bad play and oftenly looses you a game. If you feel comfortable with the controls you can begin to add hotkeys. Also the channel Heaven offers a lot of tutorial videos you can learn from.

As said before, check out heavens build order guides, and then dive into ladder. After playing a few games and getting your ass kicked, watch your replays, and #1 dont do things that you see not working, #2 copy useful things your opponent does, and #3 pay attention to the flow of the map (where to expand etc). Once you start winning ladder games, you should be able to jump into any team game and be better than most 500-700 ranks, and work up from there

Please note this is not the fun way.... this is how to actually git gud. You will probably lose your first 5-10 ladder matches, but it will force the kind of improvement that removes the noob from your system

Wow Brnk. If only you had used your nukes more efficiently (not sending all 4 in the exact same location), you would have wiped Andro's entire island out and stopped him getting that paragon (for a while at least). Oh well. Live and learn. :)
