Michelle is a successful businesswoman verging on a promotion.
Simon is a homeless man with a manic devotion to dental hygiene. Eight years ago, they were in love - until Simon abruptly vanished, shortly before college graduation. When Michelle gives the strangely familiar bum, money on the street, she realizes their connection. Soon, the old lovers are reunited in a whirlwind of encounters, from Michelle's yuppie ex-boyfriend, to Simon's circle of eccentric street dwellers...
