I respect and love my church at Maranatha Chapel, but I don't believe the word of God teaches to practice a walk in descriptions of women teachers over men, but teaches to walk in prescription of men teaching and leading the church as a whole. Women as a prescribed by the word of God are to teach women. God bless my church. And though I disagree with the descriptive teaching, I bless my church and pray for God to move in my church according to His prescriptions. In Jesus name, Amen.

I agree. Email the Pastor directly. He needs to hear this. He won’t see your comments on here. This is definitely a slippery slope. 1 Timothy 2:12 is very clear. If we can twist one verse from the Word of God to suit our wants, what’s next?

We need to keep each other in prayer. Love one another and speak to each other with, grace and understanding. Speak the truth always in love, and allow God to work. Prayer changes everything, and on His time. Just keep a right heart towards God and others. Do what you know is right. Be a good example. In Jesus name, Amen. Colossians 3:13 Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Galatians 6:1-6 1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5 For each will have to bear his own load. 6 Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

As a worship leader, you are a warrior and your love for Jesus is evident. As a teacher, God is basically talking through you and right at me. Wow and geesh!

This is confirmation that Maranatha Chapel has succumbed to false teaching, apostasy and rebellion against God, His Word, His Spirit, and His Kingdom. 1 Timothy 2:12 “I do not permit women to teach”. We’re leaving Maranatha after many years of watching them slide further and further into the heretical teachings of the NAR-New Apostolic Reformation, i.e. Bethel, Hillsong, Vineyard churches ect.
