Hi Richard how are you going. I’ve watched both of the videos already & I thought it would have been much closer to see a winner & like you I understand how things are harder for us people that are left handed in a right handed world as both my husband & I are left handed & our eldest daughter. Anyway I enjoyed watching this video & I still think you should make Buddy in to a book for not only children but anyone that is interested in learning. They should have it in all schools even. I have a question that is bugging me. I want to know why you and others don't start at the beginning of the ear canal and on the edges of the clog. I see all of you professionals digging out the middle of the clog when you can see the edge giving away. I guess there must be a reason but none of you explain this. I'm left to think it's for drama

The reason is simple. The main aim is to restore the hearing. You do that first, then anything else is a bonus. For example, you could be going round the edges for 5 minutes, then the patient decides they've had enough, and you've not restored the hearing.
