@@spawn302I mean that there are some "rules" in guitar routing like "Place reverb and delay only in the FX loop" But people often forget that spring tanks used to be standalone boxes plugged directly into cranked up amp's input which produced that rumble in surf sound

This plugged into the Total Sonic Annihilation's feedback mechanism wizardry, is absolutely disgusting. Walls and walls of sound. Like falling into a swamp. I have the Meteore reverb from CGC, with the same delay chip, but there's just something overtly anarchic and unpredictable about this one, - which just keeps it constantly being used. My friend calls it the 'soundtrack for an exploded oil rig-disaster'.

Gf just surprised me with one on Christmas. It was going to go on my moog board but I put it on my guitar board and my god it sounded too good especially through a Twin Reverb and it strangely gels really well with Spring Tank on the Twin lol

Loving the pedal so far. Lo-fi heaven. Just wondering is it possible to eliminate the predelay with a simple mod? Or is this the nature of Belton Brick reverbs. Appreciate any advice.

I too would like to know that. It's a distinctive thing. I've built a couple of these from a PCB (there's at least a couple of people who do them for this circuit) and there are mods to be done for it. I've noticed that other Belton Brick based reverb circuits have a way of adjusting that predelay (sometimes the control is called Attack). Some of the pins on the brick aren't used on this DBA circuit, iirc.
