Upmost respect Dave with that reel. I have never tried one but, the original & fore runner of that reel was The Michell Match. Or should i give it it's full title, The Mitchell 440A(or the 441A if you are a cleggy hander). I still to this day use my Mitchell Match Reels on rivers. The best reel ever made for river fishing. I accept that your Daiwa copy of The Mitchell looks a decent attempt, but to me, that is what the Daiwa reel is, a copy. You should get yourself a Michell Match off Ebay(splash out a bit and buy a decent one, not a basket case) and give it a go. Sure you would love it too. Andy
