Great stuff cheers, Bolo fishing looks a great method. Very tempted to have a look at some rods. Thanks for a great insight. 👍🏻🎣 And also just like the BBC, the close season is outdated and serves no purpose.

Seventh and best review so far. Great location, three highly relevant products, two skilled unbiased anglers. These two are the best fishing duo in angling today. Please can We have some more guys ? Finally is it true that Dave has been fishing this stretch since before the bridge was built ?

Great show chaps , a good sense of humour and a serious look at the items , spot on . As for the comments on where match fishing is going , we once had a system in place were all aspiring match anglers would strive for greatness in, it was called a division national be it 1 , 2 or 3 it didn't matter those who made the teams gave it there all because they worked hard to be there.Dave made a comment on rankings for anglers, in some ways we had this with the kamasan matchman league .it was s great shame when we lost them , it would be nice to see something like those competitions start again .

Amazing Tom and Dave. Your mix of ground bait bossed the swim and you managed to walk the fish round the peg. Great edit and such a shame were forced into yet another three month lay off😖🙊🙉🙈

2 of my favourite methods so interesting video. I have the Cadence 9m whip and highly recommend it; great bit of kit.

Hey Guys, about the ranking system. Here is Hungary we have the national qualifiers for all version of fishing. The hands of the captains are tide somewhat, because they have to select the team from the top 12 anglers. The results of the last two years are counting and a point system is there to ranking the anglers. The first 12 placed competitors are eligible to go into international competitions, the captain has to chose the 5+1 members. Usually the first 3 have to be in the team, but the captains can pick for example the 10th, 11th, 12th placed anglers over the 5-7th placed ones. We do not have payed competitions like you have in the UK (yet). Most of our well known and success anglers have business within the fishing sector. Others, mostly young generation are either backed up by the parents or the team sponsors, like brands settled already (fishing manufacturers, groudbait makers, etc.)

“Absolute fish porn” 😂😂 Brilliant, as usual 👍🏻 Even treated myself and streamed it to the TV, two of the best looking chaps in angling on the big screen 💪🏻

Fantastic video on my all time favourite river. I haven’t been much in the winter, mainly come in summer for the barbel and chub but this has certainly inspired me. Just a quick observation, you guys looked like you were catching several fish without changing the maggots. Were you threading them or are you not as fussy as me 🤣🤣. I’m paranoid about changing bait after every bite, let alone fish. Well done lads and hope to see you on the bank soon at Docklow or The Wye.

@@RobertoBiagini-n4b We fish bolo in many different ways. This was one way on a very swollen river. As any River angler knows, you adapt your style to present your hook bait where and how you want it. Just because it doesn’t look like a way you fish, or have seen others fish, doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

@@anglingescapadeswithdavero2363 I'm from Bologna (Italy) where the Bolo technique was invented. Of course, everyone fishes as they see fit. I absolutely would not have fished like that. But there is no problem. A greeting.

@@RobertoBiagini-n4b As I mention in the video, we are behind the Italians in both bolognese method and equipment. We have just adapted for our river but concede to being far behind you in these methods. I’m sure you would do well over here. I would love to fish some of your venues. All Good wishes.👍
