This song reminds me of the quaint little town that i was born in. It was a small town, where a lot of people knew each other. Then this song proceeds to remind me how that town isnt the same anymore. The places that i spent my best times in all have chnaged, taking away the chance at reminiscing and nostalgia. I know things change, but never so fast.

This song has now been on loop for 4 days. I can't stop listening. Can't stop singing along. This really hits something deep and special inside. I don't really know how else to say this, but it's like I didn't know that I needed this song until I heard it, and now I feel like I'm trying to make up for all the years that I didn't have it.

This song literally hurts when I hear it but I can't stop listening to it. I've been a fan for a long time and come back to certain songs when I need to feel a certain way. This is one of those beautiful masterpieces. 🎶❣️🎶

Lost mine suddenly a year ago in May. He walked into my life and my children's lives and assumed the role of husband and father (to six children) without hesitation or reservation and was our rock, our heart, our everything. I couldn't have asked for a better partner in life. We had 14 wonderful years. My heart and love go out to all you ladies who also lost a part of your soul as I did mine.

This song means the world too me. This album came out the week of the Camp Fire in Paradise, Ca 11-08-18. I got it the week before with a pre-order, and it was the only cd in my car. I listened to it over and over as we evacuated our town. As a huge Revivalists fan since 2013, their music has gotten me through a lot of hard times. But, this song, does something to me... maybe because of our town Paradise.. maybe because their music holds a special place.

I'm so sorry you experienced that!! I experienced the Tubbs fire and thankfully my neighborhood is in one piece. Let me just say you are really strong! It's a very traumatic experience for losing a home like that. I hope you're doing bettter!

I absolutely Love this song! The Revivalists are incredible. I have been trying out figure out the lyrics and what it is about... thinking how tight they are, musically, personally, and reaching new levels...growing. The Cyrus trees are iconic with New Orleans and all on one root system, connected and growing together, learned this on my swamp tour. Whether I am correct or not, absolutely in love with it!!

My limited edition vinyl came in Saturday, and I put it on while cooking breakfast.. started with the 45, then flipped to the 33. I was really pleasantly surprised to hear this song. I most recently saw them in KC in September and they played a lot of new material from this album, but didn't perform this one. It's so different than anything I've heard from them in the past.. whether David solo or as a group. Take Good Care is another evolution for the Revs. I love it. Keep them coming, guys!

(Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh) [Chorus] If my senses fail meet me on the other side of paradise (Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh) Free from complications of our sense of time (Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh) Fill my windless sail with broken echoes of a never ending life Whispered conversations twisted faces in the clouds [Verse 1] I’ve been hot winged and hoodwinked and dead on my feet The sound and the fury remain over me And all of the footprints that fall in a line Were our common ancestors wandering hills in the night [Chorus] If my senses fail meet me on the other side of Paradise (Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh) Free from complications of our sense of time (Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh) Fill my windless sail with broken echoes of a never ending life Whispered conversations twisted faces in the clouds [Verse 2] Let unanswered question marks fall where they will The thoughts that imprison me walk with me still And seconds that fly by like days of my life Were hours spent wasted on chasing the words of the wise
