Nice one Mark, nice straight forward review and very thorough done in a easy to understand way, the features on that bullpup are many and are all the stuff you don't normally get and make your shooting experience all the better,i love the look of some of those other models they seem to be amazing value for money, when you look at what you get right off the bat it's incredible ATB Dave

Yes, some really nice rifles. The classic look of the Pretensis, to the regulated whistles and bells of the Ixia and Throne. The Throne is fully adjustable, but the Ixia is designed as a sub 12 ft/lbs model without the adjustable regulator unless you have FAC.

All the best for Tuesday, Mark. Be good to here back from you in the next video. I was looking at an Ixia in my local RFD last week (there were a few there). Very tempted to try one because my new RM8 is spending more time at the shop than it is in the field.

One more thought, I got one that has normal manometer scale, evenly divided. I found out that I can charge it up over what it states , by measuring with more precise manometer. I end up on one red notch . Red notches start just over 250 bar. Green area is all the way up until 250 I didn’t get any shots stats.

Best wishes from me and the Mrs for next week , superb review as usual , Reximex have certainly hit the ground running so to speak , especially with MYTH , thats one hell of a looker in my opinion . Two things have to be mentioned here ,, One , how many guns have you got now ?? Jeeezzzzz I thought I had a few .. that said , can you REALLY have too many ? And .... Two , I have a bet on with the mrs , that you have changed the cocking lever over to the left hand by the end of February . .. I know you want to ... what a way to get over an operation .. kinda therapeutic id say ...

Thanks Mark, Yes, another project in waiting. This will end up with a side lever that can be used on either side and a regulator by this time next year. First things first though. Remove that bloody snap off grub screw. It's not even a legal requirement to fit anti tamper, just an agreement with UK manufacturers and importers to pluck up good rifles for the end user. As far as how many guns I have, not quite sure. Three are in bits and in need of a over-hall, but lack of available parts, due to age are lacking. So there's probably another twelve to play with as far as rifles go. Like you say, never enough, but just have to keep the better half on side.

When Accupell don't work, try Accupell-FT or VMX-Pell - because they are quite different. They all come out of the H&N factory but different design.

Mags are thinner I believe than Kral. At least for .177. What do you think about that rail level? It makes that unusable for some long mounts, so short ones preferred. I see in UK you get a better set: case and a cap, and also quick fill. On the last one I don’t know if it is an advantage. What it has also is a very textured front grip, I like it a lot.

You are right. It should be possible to take an airgun completely apart. Whether to service, repair, or modify it. It is not a toy. There should be no anti-tamper screws. The UK is far from the only country with restrictions. There is no need for this.

Hi I saw this the other day where you took the shroud off and there was a half inch unfortunately thread to put a silencer on and have a smaller gun. Unfortunately when I took the shroud of there was something like the inside of the Artrmis P15 . This has something similar, I just wondered if this comes out, as it would be ideal for me. Thank you Oete
@airgunsniper-elite7385 Жыл бұрын
It should work if you have a threaded barrel. The reason I removed the shroud was because it wasn't quite wide enough to make a good sound suppressor, even with 7 baffles in it.
@PeteroHolmeso Жыл бұрын
@@airgunsniper-elite7385 That is the oroblem where the screw thread should be there is just a round disc with a rubber washer around it. It has holes behind the rubber ring. I just realised it must come off or you would be unable to get the base of the shroud with the grub screw holding it on to the barrel. I think I will have another look. Thank you for getting back to me. Regards Petet

@@airgunsniper-elite7385 Hi Mark, I have had the shroud off again and this thing is as thick as the inside of the shroud. If you have an artemis around and take the shroud off that, you will see the baffles plus a thing that keeps the baffles in place. But unlike the Artemus the same piec must be made to stay. But sadly this does not surprise me, I have been trying to get the power dial to turn without any luck. I contacted the gunshop who told ne to the the cover of and there is a small grub screw just above the power dial I undid it and a ball bearing should gave fallen out but there wasn't one in there, so the power dial is stuck, I just hope the gunshop and rang right can come up with a solution. Thank you anyway, and keep up the great work. Peter

@@PeteroHolmeso My chock was also stiff. It is normally down to the grub screw being too tight. I think its only about 1mm, but if you can unscrew it, then the choke adjuster should move. in both directions.

@@airgunsniper-elite7385 Hi Mark I have just had another look and realise I have cooked it up in the explanation. Where you screwed your silencer onto the 1/2 UNF thread at the end of the barrel. I don't have that just the short 1in tube with 4 holes in it and a flat top for the spring in the shroud to rest on when screwed in, and that is the thing I cannot move it has no grub screws, it will not twist or turn. I have pulled it pushed it and nothing. Unless they brought out a mark 1 and mark 2 with differences. Oh well thank you for the help it did make me look it over even more carefully. Thank you Pete

Seriously considering one of these, I like how it looks and the fact everything is covered and protected. I'm new to pcp and think I might have found the one. Good purchase for a newbie? Thanks for doing a good review.
@airgunsniper-elite73852 жыл бұрын
Just make sure that you get a pull through cleaning kit, as all new rifles tend to have their barrels coated to protect them. This needs cleaning before you shoot it. Not every pellet shoots the same through every rifle. I have done some pellet tests to see what this rifle tends to like, so hopefully that will also help. You can buy sample packs of pellets, which work out cheaper to see what does work, and what doesn't.

@@airgunsniper-elite7385 Thanks for the advice, I've noticed a lot of reviews of different guns mention the need to clean the barrels. Been keeping up with your rapid fire tests.😊 Looks fun. @airgunsniper-elite73852 жыл бұрын
@@srfsummers6261 The RM8 compact is a tried and tested rifle that is really accurate, thanks to its Walther barrel, although I haven't fired one yet, I know people that have and are more than happy with them. It's in close competition with kral empire which is regulated and apex is not, do you recommend a regulated rifle (empire) over a non regulated( apex) one in general?
@airgunsniper-elite73852 жыл бұрын
A regulator usually makes all the difference, unless the rifles have good working valves such as and Air Arms S200. I will be regulating my Reximex in due course. It should help with shot count and consistency overall.

You can fit one if you take off the shroud, but they should have made an adapter for the shroud. I unscrewed the shroud this morning and fitted a Webley QGS silencer directly onto the barrel. It has a 1/2 inch x 20 thread.
@bruceferguson15442 жыл бұрын
@@airgunsniper-elite7385 having received my Regime the middle of last month, it would appear the manufacturer or the importer/distributor has modified the barrel preventing the fixing of a moderator directly to the barrel by replacing the UNF thread with what can only be described as a crimped on flange. I couldn’t see any grub screws holding it on, nor could I make out if they had screwed the flange onto the thread before crimping it or removed the thread prior. With this adapted barrel I would add caution to the removal of the shroud, as the back end screws onto an adapter that is held in place by two very small grub screws that hold it to the barrel, if this comes loose, which mine did when I screwed the shroud back on means you then have to remove the cover to screw the adapter back in place. I’m no gun smith but my recommendation would be to remove the rifles cover prior to removing the shroud, as the adapter that the shroud screws onto is prevented from being removed by the flange and those grub screws are pitiful and likely to fail when you remove/replace the shroud.
