Great name for a band . To non Yorkshire folk when we say 'He's a Reyt un ' it's the Yorkshire accent at work where we drop letters so it's saying 'He's a right one ' which is slang for both He's a decent or good person or He's a bad person . It can be either good or depending on context.

Absolutely agree..... Arctic Monkeys first 2 albums were amazing.... Humbug is where we began to notice a massive shift in songwriting.... they'd dropped the tempo and energy from the music and that's when Alex switched from relatable, sharp, whitty, humorous lyrics to majorly overcomplexed, unnecessary and baffling lyrics.... Suck it and see was average..... AM was a decent album but still a clash of styles.... Tranquility Hotel, base and casino was the absolute final nail in the coffin for me as a fan..... I just don't get why bands just abandon the sound that made them famous once they earn a few quid..... Instead of making more music of the same tempo, style and energy that earned them their fanbase, they seem to hit a certain level and then decide that they are so talented that they feel they need to completely change styles and dip into other genres.... The Reytons are basically only making the music that Arctic Monkeys should be making.... When I listen to 'Fake tales of San Francisco' and the lyrics written by Alex Turner that are mocking Americanised bands from Northern England Council estates and then look at what an absolute sell out Diva, ultimate Fake tale of San Francisco that Alex Turner has become.... It's almost as though he written that song about his future self..... If it wasn't for The Reytons and myself (who you've not yet heard) then we'd be pulling teeth begging Alex Turner to please dismount from that high horse of his.....
