Shame the age group of the children providing the commentary don't remember the valley before the trees were planted , when the collieries were still producing coal . steam trains ran out of the valley to Barry or Swansea with their loads. When we would slide down slag heaps on tin trays. When people could leave the front door open all day.when we as kids would dam up the 'nant' to make swimming pools in the summer holidays. Memories !
