The true measure of a person’s character is how they treat those who can do nothing for them. In the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, Jesus turns the tables on our world’s natural social order. When all is said and done, the rich who have disregarded the poor will have nothing, and the poor will have everything for eternity.
