That light coming through the tree's at your camp spot. Just gorgeous.

I keep watching these videos on the ridgeway and wish someone would do a map of water taps along the way

There is a guy who did on KZbin, the name escapes me. The Facebook group will definitely be able to help you though 😎

Nice one Darren. Your views brought back happy memories of my trip in 2018, and you wild camped pretty much where I did. I hope the rest of your trip is OK. Cheers Bob 👍🍻

Nice video, thanks Did this with my Father around 15 years ago. Biggest ‘problem’ (in relative terms) we found especially in the 2nd half of the walk, the villages are commuter villages, not geared for walkers or tourists, no shops, pubs infrequent or shut most of the day. Made water a bit of a problem. But this is relative.

Been looking forward to this one…did the same 4 day trek of the Ridgeway in 2015 so hoping for some good memories. We had Didcot Power Station in view for the whole of day 2 and 3 but not sure if all the chimneys have been felled now! Hope you enjoyed it. Keep on sharing your adventures…looking forward to the next episode of this one

Great to see you guys are back. I don’t know if you’re releasing these films ‘live’ or not but I hear you’ve got droughts down there, stay hydrated guys. It would be good to see a brief review on the TrekkerTent Darren, long waiting list you said previously. Anyway, safe trails guys. PS If it takes two inflatable mats then so be it, sleep’s crucial. 👍🏼

Hi mate, we walked it at the end of June The Trekkertent is growing on me, think I'm gonna keep it. Will perhaps shoot a overview video of it in a month or 2

@@darrencurtisuk That’d be good to see. Where next for your long distance hike?
@julian2211037 ай бұрын
I'm going to do it this Summer (July 24). However, i'm going to use what 3 words as its accurate to 10 yards as opposed to about 100 yards with a postcode. I'v eheard that some are slightly overgrown or difficult to spot. Some are a good 100+ yards from the track.

Im re watching your Ridgeway Journey in the order to use the same wild camping spots. Did you record the locations on a GPS ??
@Liams-Guitar Жыл бұрын
Do you need a map at all to navigate or do you just follow the patha
@darrencurtisuk Жыл бұрын
There's a few bits where its unclear, so I'd always suggest taking a map / app
