i think peter and veronica got divorced in the last season, but he still helps veronica in her political activities (as far as i can remember). Honestly, good for her, he was SUCH a crappy husband

Yes he was and Veronica deserved much better. He wasn't supportive in their marriage and Veronica felt like she couldn't be vulnerable because Peter would see it as weakness. When she had cancer she felt like she couldn't tell Peter because she didn't want him to think of her as weak. Partnership should be supportive and making someone think having an illness makes them weak or less than is so TOXIC. And he cheated on her several times and a) made her watch his affair child grow up next door and b) bring his other affair child into their house and expect her to raise said child. And I remember some scenes where they clashed a bit over their careers as both were very career driven, but I recall Peter feeling that his career was more important so he expected Veronica to compromise all the time so he could get his way and prioritise his career. What a shitty entitled ASSHOLE. He expected others to compromise for him but he wasn't willing to do the same. Im so glad they split. And yes, I know they are fictional characters but when shows depict these horrible relationships and don't address that they are bad relationships it sends the wrong message to impressionable young people who are not mature enough to recognise they are bad. This sets them up to seek or accept shitty relationships or abuse in their own life as they think its ok.

love the "how I would have ended PLL" idea, I've loved that from some other people. Also wish PLL had more of a fanfic tradition. yes, there was a bunch of it, but I feel it's not that searchable, on tumblr. I wish there was a lot more au and season rewrites especially, because I want new PLL content... just well written, and I don't trust the official sources for that. Obviously there is bad fanfic, but it's not as much of a time investment.

The only defense for the idea that the twins would have light eyes and hair is that babies sometimes retain blond hair and blue eyes up until about six or eight. (Several examples in my own family of half Hispanics) however there is no evidence at all that they have Southeast Asian features which negates the one defense.

genes do not work quite like that lmao… wren having green eyes makes it possible for the twins to have blue eyes, and if there’s a grandparent of emily’s or wren’s who’s blonde it is also possible. Besides, the thing about “twins run in the family not having sense bc it doesnt run in wrens or emily’s family” is irrelevant, most of the time when you use eggs and sperm donors for in vitro fertilization is very common ending up with twins (identical or fraternal) bc of the egg selection process they go through

The 50% of DNA a parent passes on to their child can contain recessive genes that haven't become dominant in generations and then you'll see them kick in again out of nowhere. That's likely why Grace and Lily end up blond and blue eyed. One or both of the biological parents could have passed the appropriate genes down while they were recessive, but for Grace and Lily they became dominant instead. And yes that is how genetics work. How much do we actually know about Emily's family or Wren's to say that's not what happened to make Grace and Lily turn out that way?

Did the yearbook not show Jason, Ian and garret in the same grade hence NAT club ..? I always thought those three plus Melissa were in the same grade approx 7 years older..? Though the reliability of the yearbook we see is questionable as A may have tampered with it given Cece is listed as prom queen in it. I would have thought given she dated Ian, kissed Jason and even had a thing with Garret later on that she was the same age as them. Or at most the 3 guys were a grade above her or she was only 1 grade above them. I always got the sense the pregnancies of Veronica and Jessica were close together if not even slightly overlapping. it is very common for eye colour and hair colour to change within the first few years of a child's life. That is why the babies are blonde. Also twins and multiple births are common for in vitro.
