The Right to Health and Healing is a two-year project that responds to the immediate need for inclusive, quality mental health and well-being support for LGBTIQ leaders and community members in Kenya and Uganda. It allows six LGBTIQ organizations to invest in the professional capacity and mental health of their staff and volunteers, who in turn will be better able to respond to the needs of the communities they serve. The project is co-funded by the Act Together for Inclusion Fund (ACTIF) and by Doug Stollery. ACTIF is funded by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada and is managed by Equitas in partnership with Dignity Network Canada.
