The Right Watercolor Paper - 3 Motifs, 3 Papers! | Kristina Jurick

Finding the right paper for their works is a difficult matter for many. In this video, our well-loved professor, Kristina Jurick, tries to show you how she finds the perfect paper to use for watercolor. Using 3 different papers and thus 3 fascinating watercolor works, she shows you what to pay special attention to and what might just be a matter of taste!

The criteria by which Kristina drew up the paper are as follows:
1. How well does water (including ink) run on the paper?
2. How much does the paper curl and wave?
3. Is the paper suitable for scratching techniques?
4. Can you remove hard paint edges again?
5. Is the paper suitable for clean glazes?
6. Is tape easy to remove?

Was bedeutet den halb satiniert ?

Wenn das Papier yu weich ist, kann man das Klebeband auch entschaerfen, wenn man es vorher leicht auf seine Jeans klebt, abyieht und dann erst auf das Papierklebt.

Ich fürchte, dass die Farbe dann aber darunter laufen würde.. Kommt letztendlich darauf an wofür du das Klebeband benötigst :D

Ich habe soeben mit satiniertem Papier von Hahnenmühle (Harmony, 300 g/m2) ein rosa Tesa Abklebeband getestet. Laut Hersteller ist es für empfindlichen Untergrund gedacht. Es ist im Baumarkt bei dem Malerzubehör zu finden, aber deutlich teurer als das Standard Band.. Ich habe es fest aufgerieben, damit kein Wasser darunterläuft: Nach ca. 2,5 Stunden mit sehr wässriger Farbe lies es sich problemlos ablösen und hat eine klare Kante gegeben. Farbe ist nirgends unter das Band gelaufen. Normales Abklebenband wie in Deinem Video reißt allerdings beim Abzeihen das Papier ab.

Das war auch mein Gedanke, aber man schaut frontal auf das Haus und damit nur auf die (hell ausgesparte) Dachkante.
