I don't know when exactly this show takes place in-universe, but I doubt it's in 2007 unless otherwise stated. Maybe 2008. So, Martinez did something to get himself replaced with Obama. I’ve been hoping someone would do a That’s So Raven deep dive. I’ve searched and searched and no one has done it. Seeing as you’ve done a Corey in the House one, I have hope that, That’s So Raven is next. She kicked off the golden age of live action Disney shows and the show brought to light so many social issues, it would be amazing to see it discussed in depth.

I also believe Kyle Massey was trying (and honestly doing a pretty good job) to emulate Martin Lawrence. Because some of his mannerisms and catch phrases are direct references to Lawrence’s show Martin.

I knew the Li-berry was from a Disney show! I convinced myself I had made it up 😅 Also, no way! The episode where the President's daughter is being bullied for the bike being the same episode as the one w the stress dessert is wild. That's the most vivid episode in my memory, probably cause it's so stressful between the bullying and the rushed baking that was followed by panic. I love your videos Keyan. They did NOT have to make the theme go that hard. Nor the promo music. Which makes it so lame in hindsight that when they did the obligatory band formation episode the fake music was just generic Disney - like, come on, man…missed opportunity! You created the second catchiest theme song and yet…nothing.

tbf i'm a professional wrestling fan and in general if you listen to interviews with older wrestlers who worked with the rock when he was a wrestler they all have mainly positive things to say about him and how he was easy and good to work with also this cory in the house episode only came a few years after his pro wrestling career had ended he was seen more as the guy who was a former pro wrestler now actor back then doing different type of movies from action ones to kids ones unlike the big budget ones in comparison to what it is now that started with fast and furious 5 and he has seemingly gotten a big ego and head since then.
