Just how quickly the narrative changes.. six months after being drafted by the Warriors, Jordan Poole got sent down to the G-League before being called up a couple of months later. Just a year-and-a-half later, he signed the multi-year deal and secured the bag!

Poole’s problem is that he plays for himself. The team comes a distant second. His bad shots, turnovers and horrible decisions comes at the worst times. He’s Monta Ellis all over again.

No he didn't. He punched any self-assurance and self-respect Poole had out of him and forced Poole to overcompensate for getting his lights shut off by trying to hard to be "the Man" on the court that he couldn't be off it. Poole has self- image problems; he basks in the limelight and hides under the bed from the darkness. He needs a top sports psychologist to clean out his head and build a man where a kid now lives.

Let’s see how your game plays out when you are not surrounded by three guys who can potentially light up the scoreboard at anytime. You have lots of space to create when the entire defense has at least one eye on two of the leagues best shooters. The other side of that coin is when you are the #1 or 1A option, you become a main focus of every defense that you face. If you can average 20 or 25ppg even when you are at the top of the opponents defensive game plan, then you can claim to be “Him”. Let’s see what happens.

Poole has proven that he's got the physical goods, his problem is purely emotional. he just has to understand that the bag is a team commitment to your future, not an appreciation of your past. He needs a sports psychologist to set his mind free from the badness of the punch and his own childish psychic limitations, he needs to have an expensive dinner at an expensive restaurant with Dray and to talk things out, with Dray picking up the check. That's the one-on-one play the team, Dray and Poole need to get right for next season. You can see from his celebrations that the man needs to be loved, not just respected, on and off the court. His problem is low self esteem and that makes his ego fragile and forces him to try too hard to succeed, rather than letting it come naturally. Compare him to Steph, Klay and Dray and you see none of that iinsecurity from Day One of their careers. Show Poole the love that should come with the bag and he will be the guy we Dubs fans want to believe he can be.

It's not Jordan Poole but the whole GSW team has been studied by all other teams. There is no secret weapons of GSW anymore. As a result, the weakness of Jordan Poole was targeted and he was no good enough to handle such stress. Then he was wasted. The bad relationship of Jordan Poole and teammates was not caused by the punch. It's due to Poole's funny but irrational ambition, which means he wanted to replace Steph in starting line. He thought wat he is. And he respected no one. Then Draymond Green came out and gave this trash some good lesson. Anyway, the drama is gone. GSW still has chance to win a champion. Challenges exist too.

Players have fought eachother before and even some has aimed a gun at eachother, but they still played it off by being professional to eachother and playing to the best of their ability. JP decided to get into his feelings and sabotage the warriors this last season for his poor performance knowing that people were gonna defend him over draymond. Good riddance, he clearly wasn’t gonna be a team player and it especially shows during crunch time. He’ll do fine on the wizards cuz he’ll get to start and do his shit there but as of GSW, he threw away his chances of being the next steph curry of GSW and y’all can use that punch as an excuse all y’all want. As much as I hate him and his performance this season you have to consider the fact that this dude is still young, he has that competitive nature and confidence which usually backfires but Give him a chance. The one thing I wanted to blame is Kerr's rotation like damn ass he had 2 lottery picks they drafted Baldwin Jr who is more effective than Anthony Lamb quit playing those trash bench warmer and play your young guns if they plan what they wanted to. Jonathan and Moses would've been able to adjust if kerr allowed them to play more minutes in the regular season and one thing y'all need a center fr. Try get another one like a Javale Mcgee or something they all have enough shooters they need a big smh besides don't worry much abou Poole he will bounceback. And one thing, draw more plays for Wiggs, he is their second best player he is a great scorer Don't limit him to just defending. He can help steph if he's given more touches.

Poole is too physically talented - to consider “slump” vs “purposeful”. At the very least - his “joker” mentality off the court translated on the court this year…it is difficult not to believe it’s his mental retaliation to pay back the warriors/green for the punch; knowing “his bag” is full. Warriors made a huge mistake with his offer - prior to earning it. His arrogance is seeping out and everyone/teammates are covering for him because they are having a hard time “accepting” his bro would even consider this possibility due to his [talent] or like ability.

See, Jennifer, this is what I think too. He seemed to be throwing a big F U to his teammates everytime the game was close and he had the ball. But, for him to have such a low success rate when it came to clutch play, you have to think that a player of that caliber would have much more success at the end of games. Instead, all but a few times he had the ball in critical clutch, he threw it away. Look at some of the games and tell me it doesn't look like he is holding/pushing the ball out to defenders while flopping about. A few times I could see him literally doingoves that Steph never does bc he knows how dangerous they are such as around the back between two defenders or deep threes when there is time left. He looked like a Jr high player most of the year. He jacked up shots and took away his teams ability to respond and win at least ten times last year. They would have been at least 4th seed if it wasn't for him. Smh. Idk guys.

I sm thoroughly convinced Poole's trash performance last season with GSW was payback against the team after getting slugged. He deliberately destroyed any possible chances for the Dubs to win a chip and intentionally launched constant frustation and internal discord within the organization. Judging from his high scoring rate with the Wizards so far, its clear that he just "suddenly and conveniently" remembers how to make buckets now.

Tell them Sam. You are in the group of people that Steph, Kerr, Draymond, and their media friends can not fool all the people all the time! Some of us have eyes to see the wickedness in the Warriors exposed by the light Poole carries! This was his main assignment this year. Poole is just experiencing the backlash, but he knows no weapon formed against him shall prosper! He is a word man. He stands on his faith in God and in his word. He lets the Lord fight his battles! He stands still , stays focused on his goals, and receives more power to move upward and forward! Poole is demonstrating to his generation how to deal with adversity and keep it moving! They are not moved by social media. They do not give social media the Draymonds of the world power over them!

And mind you, Poole's attitude and hubris affect Moody & Kuminga & maybe other new players IMO. Like Poole last 2021-2022 season, i expect Moody & Kuminga to suddenly do markedly better this coming 2023-2024 season when their contract extension comes up. But then again they might opt only to show flashes of brilliance or excellence, & that's all. It's the attitude, their commitment & pride in work & production that i question in these three. The hunger to figure a way to win games every game, to learn and adopt new ideas, the desire to execute well just doesn't shine through IMO But the money, how it motivates. Steph, Klay & Dray focused on excellence & results before expecting to be paid. IMO Poole, Moody & Kuminga are focused on the money first & playing time to show off second. Their attitude is not conducive to championship basketball IMO.

Completely disagree when it comes to Moody. With JK, I think it was maybe more like a toddler tantrum than anything else. Of course he wanted more playoff minutes but he wasn’t ready & got pouty. I think (hope) he’ll come around this season. Moody got more time because he was doing all the right things. (I’ve seen lots of people say he’s unusually mature relative to other very young players).

IF I WERE IN THE FRONT OFFICE, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN RID OF BOTH DRAYMOND GREENE AND JORDAN POOLE!!! Poole declined because of the irreversable loss of confidence following the knockout. He needed a new Locker Room!!!! Draymond Greene committed THREE fatal errors!!! Kicking LeBron in the Final cost Warriors championship number Five!!! He ran Kevin Durant out, costing Warriors additional Championships!!! The Jordan Poole incident put paid to any chance of a Championship season in 2023. No Player is worth three huge mistakes like that!!! PLUS, Draymond's Podcast has to be distracting him. He just cannot bring 100% to Court Play plus Podcast. In fact, if Front Office were to demand a Player to perform at full, professional capacity in both Areas, we would conclude that Front Office is being UNFAIR. So for me, both Dray and Poole should have been traded out!!!

Please respond! Has anyone else felt like Poole was throwing games? I don't know how to feel. At times I think he is just wobbly and butter fingers. Then, I rewatch and I see intent and what looks like planned mistakes. It just seems weird at times. Idk. I'd like to hear some other peoples thoughts. Sometimes a person just needs to get out of their heads and hear other people's thoughts on a matter. Thank you.

@@eugenesthrowersr2647 I saw him do that all year long. I watched every game and could tell that he was choosing to destroy one of the greatest dynasties in modern NBA. Even with a championship it was still dumb to sabotage the whole team. He is easily one of the most selfish, clown players in history. They sent him to wizard purgatory.

I don’t know if I’d say that throwing games was his plan, but I would say that he is more about himself than the team, and that’s not what the Warriors need. His decision making was often suspect, and I think his natural style is to play iso ball, and at this point he tries to move faster than his handle can handle. Even if he wasn’t turning the ball over so much, his style doesn’t fit the Warriors game that well. But it was obvious that either he or Draymond had to go, and I’m OK that it was Poole.

Jordan Poole completed his assignment for last year by exposing the dark and ugly in the Warriors so they have to deal with it! It lets them know " They can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but they can not fool all of the people all of the time.” There will be no more moving forward for the Warriors and no more championships until they clean house and get rid of the mess in the form of selfishness and self-centeredness of Steph, Kerr, and Draymond that they are projecting onto Jordan Poole! Why? Because they see him and his generation as their replacement who is more gifted, talented, and a leader of this new generation, and they fear Poole and those like him are going to replace them before they are ready to go! This new generation is coming with their own brand, knowing their self-worth, confident, smart, quick, and with basketball skills out of this world! Poole just had to fight the good fight of faith against the spiritual and psychic warfare, but no weapon formed against him shall prosper! You can't kill life and Spirit! Poole is filled and overflowing with it! Poole is just recharging and preparing for the main attraction of what he was really sent to the NBA to do, and Draymond ,Steph, and Kerr know it! They just want to control and use what Poole has so they can get the credit! This is not going to happen with Poole. He has too much Jesus in him! He has too much real spiritual power and light backing him up! You can't touch that! All you can do is bow to it! People don't fight that hard against someone who doesn't have anything going for themselves! You don't try to destroy someone who is helping you stay alive! This is why they fight Poole so hard to no avail! They will find out nothing they do will work against and control Poole! It is his time! It is the young players' time and they know what to do! Poole is unstoppable! You can not shut down and lock down a "chosen one.
