I still think about those days. I feel lucky to have a memorable childhood and Raj Comics played a huge role. I remember be the first one to rent the set (I think at that time was 2 rupees for digest, 1 for 30 pages). Visited the old comic shop I used to rent from and they don't carry anymore. The owner said that he wishes kids would read comics rather than their heads in phones all day.

That is the real tragedy. When we were young, reading comics was considered a bad habit. Our parents discouraged us from reading comics saying it is not good for studies. Now that we have grown up, our children spends much of their time in watching mobile phones playing mobile games. I think reading comics was much better option of entertainment, than watching useless reels from mobile

hi there, the way you started this video was really good, It seemed you did a lot of homework, your description of dates, time era and many other things is quiet appreciable and your lines, words, and the way you explained things were really interesting. However, I must say that after the first half, during the explanation of 'THE FALL' , i have to disagree with you, if not completely then partially. The first half seemed very informative and i enjoyed listening to you as a narrator, but in the second half all of a sudden it felt as if some angry fan has now taken over, in my opinion. I am not here to argue with your sayings, you did a good job, as i said, but would say a bit different perspective should also have been presented. Now, i am not fond of this comment section game which young kids and surprisingly enough, even senior guys do....talking and arguing endlessly which serves no purpose, but would just say, you definitely have got a pretty cool talent of narrating, you do hard work in this, keep on improving your skills, you can very soon reach mass viewers......and yes, give a proper thought to the fall of raj comics section........take care...

Innovativation - A good example is manga * They never made superheroes they created story. Although my thoughts are different from you when it comes to art , definitely they copied from other comic giant but just think about it 25 year old gupta brothers who don't have any idea about comics apart from foreign comics!! They introduced superhero that is a big blow !! Because just think about it they are killing there own business of "pulp writing" for creating comics thing. . Agar vo comics ko introduce nhi karte to shayad aaj hum marvel & dc me interest nhi rakhte bcz khi na khi RC ne hi hme vo taste diya tha. . . But yes vo khud ko apdation nhi sikha pae. Unhone kabhi apna universe ko different direction nhi diya. Lekin unhone sarvnayak series k sath ek new hope rakkhi hai jisme vo ek orignal story bna rhe hain, sath me story me depth b hai , morality bhi hai or sath me ek new universe ka setup b karre hain. . . As a kid, I was a big fan of all the Indian comics! I had all the issues of the entire raj comics universe (my older cousin helped me with the first comics from the 80s). I also collected the likes of nandan and nanhe samrat. After I left home, my parents sold my entire collection without informing me😢😢😢 After years, I've started reading comics again and I'm enjoying the modern age of Indian comicsband I hope the industry grows again

Hindi comics hamesha se north belt mai hi chali thi, but abhi phir se comics ki rage wapas aa rahi hai. Aur rahi plagriasim ki baat, Marvel aur dc dono hi ek dusre se copy karte hai. " Namor ki copy Aquaman", Batman ki copy iron man, Superman ki copy Ms Marvel. The list goes on. Flash ki copy quicksilver. So yeh sab chalta hai for inspiration. Hello Harish. Thank you for your comment. I do agree that Marvel and DC characters are copied or inspired by pre-existing characters but they aren't as shallow or hollow as Raj Comics characters. Most of the Marvel and DC characters from tier 1 and tier 2 have had arcs and personalities.

1. Oh yes I do. 2. What does my voice have to do with it? 3. You really need to read some original comics. 4. Yes, I read them when I was a kid. Back then I didn't understand what good writing and bad writing was. Now I read a variety of stuff so I do know the difference now. 5. Yes, I am aware of that. What I said stands true. They are reprinting old comics with new covers in sets. Also these new comics that you are talking about really are bad comics. 6. "BuSiNeSs StRaTeGy" is a really wrong way to put it. What buisness strategy makes you open two publishing houses, make them compete with each other and take each other's market share by trying to sabotage each other. It was a split because of greedy brothers wanting to make money out of dead products.

@@ankan010 yes most of them are inspired by 2 or more heroes actually. Nagraj - spiderman + Superman. Tiranga is Batman meets captain America (deshbhakt detective likhte the comic me). Parmanu from antman and atom.. even the side characters and villains are copied, Kali widhwa, black cat, kal paheliyan(Riddler+joker)..

Hi Rishabh, sadly I don't have any RC in my collection. Some of my favourite titles are 1. Ran Kand from Nagayan (for Nagu) 2. Sammohan (for Nagu) 3. Maine Mara Dhruv Ko 4. Some Bheriya comics 5. Some Anthony comics 6. Many Bankelal comics 7. Many Thrill Horror Suspense comics I don't remember much because it's been more than a decade now since I read them. They were great for me at that time! 🤩

Bro reprints are not bad because i had a part of dhruv comic which i never got when it was published but bought reprint after years to complete the story ... Plus i don't think it has fallen i still see many people buying it including myself and i was not fan of art works initially but I guess it gives it aesthetic look

Even they are copeid but marvel aur DC bhi ek dusre ko copied karte hai most characters are copeied each other.may be after growing up tumhe ye comic story old lag rahi hai but us time k hosab se bahut thik thi bollywood ko dekhlo..main reason ye hai k aaj k time me readers nhi bache sab ko graphics aur digital cheeje watch karna hai..main 2019 me jab job lag aur main gaon gaya maon c9mics ki dukaan pe gaya aur mere paas itne paise the k 10 20 comics lelo bina soche..shopkeeper ko jab poncha tih usne bola kon aaj kal comic padta sab kuch mobile pe hai and that hit me hard but it's reality 😢

It's true, no one reads comics anymore. We are moved on to films and shows now. But the point still stands ki Raj Comics did not evolve themselves. Even I feel sad that Indian comics are this state but independent artists and authors are flourishing in India now.
