I knew Jack while he was being held in pretrial custody on this case. He was a gentleman. He was respectful to staff and didn't tolerate disrespect in his cell block.

I don't know where you guys were, but Jack was one of my best friends.he didn't agree with drug and heroin use, but if you're a 1%er, a fundraiser is a fundraiser, and he technically wasn't the president at that time, he coddled an ambitious, yet naive young man to take that role. Other than that, true story. Y'all weren't there. Rabbit was a great guy too! I used to tax drug dealers trying to use the park on the corner of Foster Street as their store. I told him it's 20 bucks every time I drive by. I only made about 20 bucks before the park went back to the kids lol. Those are the kinds of things we did to keep that neighborhood a place where everyone can feel safe.

I grew up in Meriden and my older brother knew him personally however he was not into whatever they were up to. He told me and our mother do not go anywhere near that area! Years later I was working at a video store and one of the Diablos came in to rent a movie. When I went to rent it to him, it came up that he had a number of our movies that were never returned. I told him sorry you have a number of our movies that weren't returned so you can't rent anything. He was furious and said do you know who I am? I said I don't care who you are. You can either pay me for those movies or get the hell out of here! And he did. Later when I told my boss he was like who is that guy? When I told my brother he said be careful but I'll take care of it. Apparently he either called Jackie or went there. He had a bad temper when it came to protecting me and said if you ever go near my sister again you're going to regret it! They never came back. We had a few weirdos in Meriden and they knew to stay away from me. This guy was truly crazy and one day he came wandering over to our local park and was asking us for cigarettes. My brother said stay away from John Barberino as he was violent and really crazy. He was also a scary dude who ultimately unalived himself. The 70's in Meriden was a hot mess. Police were being accused of arresting and raping young women. One time the police came to the park and said we were disturbing the neighbors and I needed to come with him. I said no way! My mother told me if the police approach you do not get in the car! I said my mother told me what you're doing and I will go get her right now! He got scared and left. Some really bad stuff going on all over town. It's sad because when we moved there it was a nice town and now it's gone to 💩!

When i was a youngster i lived in Connecticut for a bit. I remember a friend from school had a older sister who had a Diablo boyfriend. She was gorgeous & he was a badass. They let us hang out at their apartment some weekends in New London. Good Memories. 🌵📿🕯☦️🕯🌵 This was in the mid 80s

My granpa rabbit was the vice president of the diablos a long time ago. Iv heard him talk about Sanberdino callifornia countless times. This documentary has many flaws man. Nice try Rip jack.
