I’m nervous and uncomfortable going to a gym because I’m plus size and these are the situations I’m worried about happening. I use to love weight lifting and hit workouts. Personally, I don’t want to be skinny; I want to feel strong and agile.

@@vadamaneshe has a valid fear. Too many adult highschoolers looking for bs content. Start at a smaller gym. Do something specific. Where the group will support and not attempt to prank or embarrass you. Depending on your schedule and location/safety, go to the gym really late to very early. And with a smartwatch or fitness tracker, you can try to beat your previous and collect the medals 🏅 😉

I use to worry about the same thing but I’ve been going to the gym for almost 3 years now and I promise you no one will judge you! It’s such a great community to be apart of and it’s really motivating. You’ll see the same ppl all the time. And they’ll usually be some of the first ppl to notice your changes and consistency.

We as a collective need to stop being prisoners to our body. Forcing ourselves to eat a certain way, burning out from working out so much and still comparing ourselves to others. It's unhealthy for our mind and soul. Instead we should focus on being grateful for having a healthy working body, and appreciating/loving ourselves no matter what we look like.

My mom is a multi-certified personal trainer, even educated in fitness with a degree in physical education and fitness. She’s been working in this industry for basically her entire life, starting as a PE teacher to gymnastics coach to personal training to fitness class coach and heck, even a swimming instructor. My point is, she’s basically a super human and she looks GREAT, especially at her age. She’s super fit and genuinely enjoys working out. But does that mean she doesn’t drink? Heck no, she loves wine. Not have a social life? She’s literally the life of any party. Not eat cake? She will probably makes like 3 cakes a week. Not eat out? We ordered sushi 2 days ago for dinner. Despite all of her working out, inane hours she does her swimming and gymnastics and conditioning classes, etc., she doesn’t have a six pack. She isnt out here promoting a workout to give people thigh gaps or help “fix” their hip dips. I often get sad and even jealous sometimes that she looks so so good, and it makes me upset to compare my body to her knowing I will never be that skinny and never have the motivation to work out like she does. But whenever I get that way, I have to remind myself that this is her JOB. Just like Ken’s job is beach, my mom’s is gym. So I can’t be too hard on myself because my reality is completely different than hers, and comparing my body and my needs to her will never make me feel better. It breaks my heart to see middle schoolers make “what I eat in a day” video showing GUM as a snack. I am so glad I decided to unfollow all these “fitness influencers” on insta because if it was messing with my mental health, I cannot imagine what it’s doing for kids and teens. 😢 Anyways shoutout to my mom for being amazing 😂🫶🏼

I started tuning out Fitness Influencers because 99% of them don't know what they're talking about and seeing them just made me feel like sh*t. I'm trying to loss weight and I'm following a simple strategy of Calorie Deficit. I move more, eat less, and count calories.
@michi-bi
@michi-bi 3 ай бұрын
counting calories can be stressful...I think it's better to have a balance diet of whole foods/less processed foods. You can eat your desserts and not worry. Have you heard of glucose goddess youtube channel? Learning about eating foods a certain way is something our ancestors done that is lost now. It's been making my life much easier.

@@michi-bicaloric deficit is how you loose weight though. You could be eating 2,500 calories a day and even if you eat in a slight deficit eating at 2,300 calories a day you will see results. Not everyone is stressed by calorie counting, just because it stressed you out doesn’t mean it will stress everyone out and truthfully it’s the most fool proof way to loose weight that’s why people still do that. Maybe when they get to they’re goal weight they can stop counting.

@@Iamyl4 There is different ways to lose weight, For me i like to focus on having a balanced diet, getting enough sleep ect. I didnt realize the things that i was doing was basically increasing my metablism. I was able to train my body to burn fat while resting. increase my quality of sleep, walking ect. Would you say you get 8 hours of sleep? How do you manage stress? Do you eat whole foods or processed foods? Do you eat a lot of nutriently dense food/super foods? I think its beyond calories, some foods trigger hunger hormone ghrelin . like Carbs but carbs also help you sleep better. ect I use to do weight watchers, . It's started my journey in understanding food.

No no. There is actually people that look like that naturally. I am one of them. I eat whatever I want and I’m not gaining any substantial amount of weight. With that said - I have a special metabolism and what is considered healthy or normal for me may not be for others. I would not promote my eating habits to anyone else because I know everyone has slightly different metabolisms and will gain weight differently from how I do.

I stopped giving advice in the fitness community due to the amount of ignorance and naivety people want to have. You get called a hater or jealous while trying to give legit information. For example, hip dips. I can’t even count the amount of videos I’ve seen of women advertising routines that get rid of them. The dips literally from come how high or low your hip sits, and ironically, the bigger your glutes and legs are, the more pronounced those dips can become. Im convinced people just want to be sold a dream and a guide of lies.

I think that all this hyper body scrutiny could be a form of masochism? It’s been this way for so long The demand for Asian women to bind their feet so they get smaller, trying to have bigger boobs, be super skinny, force a butt, force a thigh gap, etc Just seems a bit like it might be a part of human nature to NOT be satisfied with ourselves, something beauty and fitness industries understand very well and of course exploit

Every time I go to the gym, multiple people are filming and they take so much time to change the camera angles and setups and needlessly hog the machines. When I asked a woman how long she would need for the bench press, she looked me over and gave me the stinkeye and said "I'm more fitting of using it" (I'm a beginner lifter and overweight and anyone in the gym can tell I'm new to it). Stopped going right after and invested in a set of adjustable dumbbells to workout at home. It's ridiculous how people who genuinely need the gym are shamed and turned away from it by people who can very easily help with guidance or at the very least mind their own business in what's meant to be a judment-free zone

I'm not insecure in the gym at all, but it got so bad that I invested a lot of money in a home gym to avoid it all. I will say however, good on you for not quitting and just changing your plan of attack. Lifting is really important for mobility and muscle retention, especially when you get over the age of 35

She doesn’t post much fitness content anymore as it’s mostly promotion of her swimwear brand so basically a lot of bikini shots. What I did notice before was a lot of child like themes in her way of dressing sometimes including childish prints/graphics, pig tail hairstyles, etc. I did also notice in one of her swimwear photoshoots she had laid out a bikini with the book “Lolita” in the frame - just looking at it all in context it’s a little strange. I feel like they are all trying to be “sexy babies” lol Just my opinion though!

I’ve learned years ago from consistently going to the gym that people in the gym are the most insecure people you will ever meet. Most of them are going so they can magically look like someone else. It irritates my soul when trainers are telling people that they’ll look a certain way if they workout enough. Not everyone can have a small back and fat ass. Most of them aren’t actually qualified in that field at all, they’re just trying to teach you what worked for them without mentioning genetics. Most people need to aspire to look like their parents because that’s the most realistic version of yourself you will see from an objective perspective. Not random ppl on the internet 😅 Also, some people buy their body but there actually are A LOT of people who build their bodies in the gym. Most people do not have surgery, they have genetics that give them that body. I think that sometimes we like to delude ourselves into thinking people have to do extremes (like surgery) to look a certain way when they DO NOT. Some people are just naturally lucky and instead of coming at women who are blessed with those genetics, we should shift our focus back to ourselves because the reality is most of those women aren’t lying about their bodies, they’re just lucky. We need to find ways to feel good about ourselves without assuming the worst of others.
@kirby7475
@kirby7475 3 ай бұрын
Spot on! Especially the part about genetics. Fact of the matter is our genetics determine what we look like to a very large extent, and might even be more pronounced after spending time in the gym. Personally I've been blessed with a bit of a booty, but then again, I'm a man, so not sure that's much of a flex😅 Anyway I've put much more time and effort into my shoulders, yet they pale in comparison. Why? Genetics. I'm not trying to discourage anyone btw. No matter your genetics, if you put work in, you'll see great improvements. And who's to say you don't have "good" genetics? You won't know until you give them a chance to shine after all.

@@evaphillips2102 there won’t be anything like a boob lift. Only if you have double A cups. But you can’t lift your boob fat. your boobs can look a bit bigger if you get bigger pecs but by getting more muscles you will also lose fat, so your boobs will shrink since you’re losing fat. Why else would female body builders always get implants. They lose all their boob fat and the muscle alone won’t give you big boobs like women usually can get.

You know, something I despise is that gym influencers constantly pose and edit their way into convincing other people they’re better than them. I constantly and I mean CONSTANTLY see very, very posed pictures. “How I grew my glutes in a week” and it’s them strategically angled, and if you look for more than a second or two you can see there’s no difference in the glutes, they just posed differently. Lest we not forget the influencers with BBLs that try to paint it out as natural gym growth. Working out is great if you like to do it! But 99% of the time, everyone has completely different bodies and different body composition. I may have a natural shelf to my glutes and I can build those, but there are many, many women I’ve seen who feel even worse when they can’t grow things that other women seem to be able to. They then go on to sell courses based on insecurities, and that’s the craziest part to me.

He didn’t listen and kept posting me on his page. When I fired him, he used my own personal experiences that led me to fitness as content. I was mortified, because I did not give permission for any of it. I’m sorry but recording isn’t needed unless there isn’t a mirror around to see your form. I hate the recording in the gym. I understand people want to record their journey (sometimes) but other times it’s invasive. I was in the gym the other day and this girl was filming herself working out and her camera was facing the room, rather than her recording herself with the wall in the background. There were also a lot of mirrors. I kept moving to avoid being in the line of sight of the camera and it was so annoying. I don’t personally record myself working out and I don’t want to be filmed when I go to the gym, it’s like a safe space and working out is peaceful. I have multiple gym memberships and I prefer the private gyms over the $10 gyms, there’s such a big difference in the types of people that pay for a private gym

On top of it all you also get the female fitness influencers who are not pro card bodybuilders but are currently on or have cycled steroids and performance enhancing drugs. For the average person who is looking to become more fit, improve their strength, lose weight/drop body fat etc or gain muscle mass this so beyond misleading and creates an awful standard this is where i think the line for many is crossed and where all these unhealthy, disordered eating habits and body dysmorphia begins. You have several NPC female bodybuilders and fitfluencers deliberately lying through the skin of their teeth to promote an unrealistic image that without drugs is unattainable. I also wish more of these girls would be transparent about the fact that they have cycled or are currently cycling drugs. As much as I also think the male gym culture/bodybuilding culture is pretty toxic I atleast appreciate how many of those men are honest about their drug usage. The lies, mis and disinformation that is being spread in the gym girl community boils my blood. Not to mention so many fitfluencers are directly profiting off of spreading false info and literally hurting and harming the lives of people who just simply wish to become healthier... Truly sickening.

I was constantly hungry, always eating & lifting heavier weights to burn it off! It was a bad cycle. SO I STOPPED lifting weights, stopped eating after 9pm and started doing pilates & cardio. And now im no longer suffering from binging episodes & my body looks Great 😊 Everything is under control. We all have to find a fitness plan that work for us.

LOVED this Toni! Also about sex, I’m learning from the Holy Spirit that when choosing a life of sexual purity, it’s more than just simply not having sex until you are married to someone, but this involves a process of unlearning my understanding of sex and choosing to re-learn sex in the way the Lord designed and understands it to be. God is Spirit so He wants us to worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24), so we must ask for HIS understanding when we try to live for Him, including when it comes to sex. Regardless of our experiences with sex or a lack thereof, we all have different things that have shaped the way we view sex due to the things we consume in the world, ie. our former sexual experiences of any kind, celebs/influencers we listen to, porn and masturbation, nudes, conversations in school, “advice” from friends and family, things we’ve witnessed, trauma, sexual fantasies, novels and erotica, romance films, etc. All of these things and more are the ways of the world that feed us a view of sex outside of God’s original intent of it, and they all influence and therefore shape the way that we view sex and engage in it. When we choose to not just refrain from having sex until marriage simply out of obligation, but instead live a lifestyle of sexual integrity that honors God, this means that by the help of the Holy Spirit, we are free to be candid and intentional in telling the Lord about whatever has influenced the way we formerly/currently view sex as, so we can learn from Him how we ought to understand and engage in sex, and so that we can experience it as the holy enjoyable act that God created it to be in the context He knows is best for us (a Christ-centered marriage with His guidance). This is how we EXCHANGE what we’ve believed sex to be for His design for sex instead. This is what living a life of purity truly entails, and regardless of your sexual history or inexperience this is applicable to someone who is single, dating, courting, waiting before marriage, AND is very helpful throughout the marriage too :)

I had to remind myself that unlike fitness influencers, the rest of us actually have lives to live outside the gym and we don't get paid to work out. Adding to that, chasing a certain look or aesthetic should be your lowest priority when it comes to fitness, because otherwise you'll never be satisfied. Ever since I had this change in my mindset and got more in tune with my body, I actually started enjoying working out and being proud of the gains I made so far.

Facts. Been adding walks to my swimming/water workouts and am already seeing results Doing about an hours walk after a workout is perfect for me, because apparently fat burning starts after 30 minutes when you’re walking So the advice is not to rely on short bursts throughout the day, try to go over 30 minutes so you can get into fat burning mode (if weight loss is a goal) The fast food-the greatest issue is that fast food is exactly that-fast. So it’s overly processed, technically isn’t always food, just edible, plenty of additives. High in calories, low in nutrients. What helps me is planning out meals about 3-4 days ahead, cooking a little extra so there’s leftovers (which I sometimes freeze) and keeping it interesting For people who may be hyper sensitive to sugar (like me), berries are a really good fruit choice, especially blueberries 🫐💙

I agree with the above comments. Walking is great and I unfortunately see people minimize its impact. But, it shouldn’t be the only type of exercise. My doctor said it was a great way for me to start my weight loss journey, but encouraged me to start doing strength training because growing and maintaining muscle is important for our bodies because it increases bone strength and decreases the likelihood of injuries. Oh, and core strength exercises! I did not realize how weak my core was and was truly humbled in a group exercise class when all the middle aged people had a stronger one than me.😂

I will say one note on the filming, a lot of the people who film in the gym don't film for Instagram or to influence. Part of training whether it be general training through a local trainer or training for bigger competitions, requires taking videos of your form doing specific exercises to make sure that you're doing them right, especially as you're adding a heavy load in order to ensure that you don't do damage to your body. Now that said, people who are filming to capture their form usually will have it strategically placed in order to capture a certain angle, which yes could mean that they capture more of the room, but they don't actually pay attention at all to who is in that shot, they're busy looking at what their body looks like throughout the movement. This is a really important tool to understand how your body moves and improving that mind body connection. It's also the reason why there's so many mirrors in the gym, contrary to what people might believe. It's a shame that influencers are abusing this tool that actually would be beneficial for a lot of people in the gym to prevent injury.

If you are concerned, if you are able to I always recommend finding a reputable and accredited dietitian/nutritionist for good help! Eventually the more we starve our bodies, the more weight it will hold onto because it’s trying to keep the fat content your body needs. Obviously kids, age hormones (thyroid levels too), activity and stress levels and the nutritional value all play a huge part in weight fluctuations. I wish you nothing but the best, and please try to contact accredited professionals for the help you may need. Therapy also is extremely helpful if it’s available because it will help you break down the thought/emotional process behind how we feel in our bodies.

For anyone who might be looking for a little guidance whether they're looking to lose or gain weight is to use a TDEE (Total daily energy expenditure) calculator. It essentially shows how many calories your body expends in a day based on factors like gender, height, daily activity etc. If you want to gain weight just stay a little above the number it gives, and if you want to lose weight, just stay a little below. And I mean a little. 150-200kcal either way is good enough and is much more sustainable than any fad diet, fasting or whatever dietary nonsense is in these days.

As someone who is training as a PT and nutritionist - I would just recommend finding those influencers who do have qualifications and speak of balance and not over training. Also best option would be to get a in person trainer or go to classes you really enjoy! Take what is on social media with a pinch of salt - instead as a baseline you can eat at least 3 homecooked (and maybe shared) meals a day, keep your workouts 45mins-1hr long (short and sweet!), don't overload on the weights - just enough to be challenging, focus on how you FEEL (you should feel more energised rather than exhausted after working out), higher reps 8-12x and lower weight is better for consistency and FUN, train 3-4x a week with some cardio included, train yourself the same way you would train a friend or child, do not restrict any food groups but you can mindfully limit as and when you feel like it. Hope this helps. It really is simple - but mainly focus on moving more and doing what you find enjoyable! What can you do for the rest of your life and keep it up consistently? There's your answer not in these influencers. And like mentioned we're all different so listen in and respect the ques your body is telling you (not what your mind is telling you - which can be often confused with listening in). x

People are so quick to jump on fasting and then dont say a work when people eat processed food for every meal of the day. That’s not normal either. We actually don’t need this much food. did you watch the full thing? yeah americans tend to eat a lot of unhealthy foods (it also doesn’t help that the fda allows companies to cut corners so they can make more money. it’s fucked up). america is an expensive country. 51% of adults here struggle to afford healthcare. if people can’t even afford to see a primary care physician, then obviously they’re won’t be able to afford healthy foods. the processed unhealthy foods are MUCH cheaper than good quality foods but that’s all some people can afford (therefore, that’s literally all they can eat). anyways, the WHOLE point is that fitness and being “healthy” is a personalized thing. there’s literally no “one size fits all” when it comes to fitness. genetics, weight, height, BMR, Tdee, and your overall health determines so much. that’s the point of the video, not just the food aspect

@@kaitsenpaiHealthy foods don’t have to be expensive. It is a lack of education of finding ways to eat healthy in a cheaper way (I say this from experience). Frozen fruits and veggies are cheaper and a great way to preserve food. For chicken and meat, I always freeze that stuff so I can preserve it and not go back to the grocery store so often. Fresh produce and certain brand names are most definitely expensive. It’s just knowing alternatives sometimes. I think with ultra processed foods, it’s also harder to maintain in the house for a while if someone is a binge eater and has certain trigger foods. Long term, healthy foods are going to be cheaper if you can go for frozen/canned. Honestly, I didn’t know this for a long time and was always told ultra processed foods are always cheaper. I think part of it is thinking about it short term vs long term. I do still think a lot of this is very complex and there’s not really one solution. I don’t think fresh produce should be expensive, but just want people to know they can find ways to eat mostly healthy at a cheaper cost.

It’s really just discipline and organization (ofc not talking about people who have kids) So, I’ve been an athlete my whole life and then started the gym 5 years ago. Here’s my take: 1. There is no health at every size. You are supposed to eat healthy and move your body. 2. Nobody is looking at you at the gym. Really. And if there is, well, idiots are everywhere. You deserve better than not going to a place because of maybe 1% of ppl. 3. Do NOT buy bs from fitness influencers. The majority of them had BBLs, fat transfers, hyaluronic acid etc done so that their body looks like that. Learn from papers, study nutrition. There is lots of valuable information on the internet. 4. There is also no “people who are bigger naturally or have bigger bones”, just people with faster metabolism than others. You may have a slow metabolism due to growing up or genetics, but you can change that. 5. You should never hate yourself for the way you look. But you need to take yourself accountable with your habits. It is also okay if you want to change your body to look a certain way, but understand it takes time, patience and discipline.

Yes! I think it’s perfectly fine as long as you’re not having other people in the shot! Some times it’s inevitable (like if you’re taking a pic or video in a busy area), but it’s the courtesy of not recording people, especially if they may be in a vulnerable position. Sidebar, I love when you post your inspo fitness content lol

Secondly the girl that lost 40lbs did nothing wrong she ate 3x in A day lmao. That’s some hater shit to me. She became disciplined , wanted A certain figure and achieved it lol. As long as you’re not over eating or under eating to A severe degree you’re GOOD it’s not that deep. All people have to do is USE YOUR BRAIN. sift through the bullshit and use your cognitive reasoning. But that’ll be easier said than done because MOST want that shortcut but what do I know

Most of them are. I got my eating disorder from watching fitness influencers on Instagram. Besides that a lot of female influencers promote buying collagen, "green products" and some supplements that claim to be for women which are just marketing strategies. Fitness can be a very expensive hobby and I dont't blame people who can't afford to live the fitness influencer lifestyle

Thank you so much for making this video. I had always been athletic and naturally muscular, but in my early thirties I found out my spine started to curve and I have some pretty bad arthritis in my back from a few injuries along the way. Now, being in my late thirties, I have lost quite a bit of weight over a short period. People ask me how I lost so much weight and I have always been 100% honest. I didn't lose weight any "healthy" way. I've been sick for a while now and this is what happens when you are ill. The only healthy thing I did was quit drinking alcohol three and a half years ago. People's responses are strange, ignoring the fact that I say I am ill and instead say "Well, you look really good!" I find that incredibly bizarre. Being ill is not something I enjoy, and I certainly would never tell anyone to just "get sick" to look good.

girl im confused. For someone that puts a bible verse at the start of all their videos and is very open about their faith in Jesus Christ, why are you promoting sex toys? any form of masturbation, self pleasure with the flesh is a sin. why are you promoting things that are NOT of the word? im not trying to condemn you because only the man above can but even you promoting this, do you not feel a sense of conviction. you even tried to back it up with "just because we the girls are practicing celibacy doesn't mean you need to 'punish' yourself if you have yet to find the one. To discover their own 'pleasure'." like girl what?? 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 "flee from sexual immorality. every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. so glorify God in your body." please, this is not to judge you but what you are promoting goes against what you practice and the Man you serve.

Videos like the ones you showed have only made healthier eating harder for me and increased the yo yo effect. Fortunately, there are some youtubers or such who encourage better eating while eating enough and getting good stuff for your body, noting that not everyone will look the same and it is a process to stop the 'good' and 'bad' labeling of food. I even tried (and definitely failed) the water diet (only water, no food) at SEVENTEEN... ugh please stop with body types and unrealistic and dangerous standards of what a 'good' body looks like

Then there is the rest of us who are regular shmegulars falling for influencer/k-pop/curvy body stuff😂

Also we all have different body types and bones and genetics. Like some of my friends I grew up with have the craziest curves-which you can see in their mums and cousins. Some have huge shoulders and narrow hips. Others have rectangular, apple or pear shape. I am happy I actually grew up in quite a healthy environment where no one cared much about body types until we grew up and got our phones, that is.

As a woman that is a gym head I resonated so much with this video. My weight has fluctuated so much and Ive been exercising for 4 years now, five days straight all while maintaining a healthy diet and watching what I eat when I do treat myself. I still struggle with self confidence. I wish that people (including myself) would prioritize HEALTH over how they look on the outside. Its easier said than done but I have found myself so unhappy with myself because I don’t look like all these women influencers. I am constantly chasing how they look and not what my body wants of me and loving who I am and not some other woman’s body over mine

10:49 the gum one is so stupid. Chewing something that tastes good makes your stomach produce a hormone called ghrelin (because it expects food soon) which then tells your brain that you are really hungry. So chewing gum might help in the moment but will make you really hungry a few minutes later.😂

Most Fitness ppl who claim to be so healthy and fit actually all have Ed’s… all in disguise of health and fitness. it’s so normalized/idealized and they all get praised and fuel each other… I had the worst Ed and excessive compulsive exercise addiction and was so lean and underweight yet looked like the epitome of health. I had to burn food off, justify eating, compensate, allow myself to eat but only if it’s x, at this time and if I made up for it, I was obsessed with food, demonized calories, thought low cal, eat less, move more and having a sixpack equals health, I defined my self worth of my body and what I look like, labeled food as good and bad and I’m terrified that we live in a society that idealizes underweight skinny bodies, is fat phobic and thinks the skinnier the better. I’m still not recovered bc I’m scared to be bigger, I mentally restrict and it’s shit that ppl assume that if you look fine and healthy and don’t starve yourself that you’re not sick bc actually only 5% of ppl with Ed’s are underweight and you are valid no matter what. Nothing is as unhealthy as an Ed.

Young women need to understand a womans body will have a cycle, First two weeks after your period you will have higher estrogen, More energy and a better metabolism, Heal faster but then week 3 progesterone kicks in and your body is preparing for the possibility of a pregnancy and slows you down, More tired and wants to keep hold of energy, Slows down your digestion. Week 3&4 you will need to change workouts to be more gentle. Also if you suddenly cut calories and workout very hard your metabolism will slowdown because our bodies are smart and lack of food and doing more work means your metabolism needs to adapt to reserve energy = Slower metabolism. Stressed female bodies produce cortisol and that causes fat to be stored and aging. So ladies you need to get real expert advice, Research and walk. Walking burns fat more than cardio. And eat, Don't obsess just cut out ultra processed foods and sugar but don't eat what other bodies eat but eat for your body. Understand that some people burn through calories and others don't, Some bodies are muscular, Bigger bums but some, Like myself don't have hips and bum but boobs and long slender legs and arms.

I have a hard time feeling empathy towards this. I just don't understand why people think they can just do exactly what someone else does and end up exactly like them. It's ridiculous and illogical to think that. You have entirely different genetic disposition. At the same time though, if you're not super into gym culture and you just gym to "tone" your body you'll definitely fall for watching "fitness influencers". I feel like the bigger issue is that there's a fundamental misunderstanding about fitness and health. When you go to the gym it has to be about more than appearance and being skinny, you can't look for short cuts, and you have got to figure out what works for you specifically. People just want the easy answer to their dream body. There is no easy answer and any influencer selling you that dream is lying. Ig it's hard for me to understand because I was really into sports throughout grade school and I learned how to lift really young but even then nobody taught me how to eat well or how to know what my body needs. That part was kinda just a no brainer. Idk I could very well just be missing some fundamental point but I really can't understand how people fall this far down. Either way, I try not to be judgemental about it because everyone's life is different and just like genetic disposition, you're also more susceptible to end up in certain places in life.

Had to stop watching when you said, some women are just naturally thin and they can eat a pizza and not gain a pound. Just such dangerous information. It simply isn't the case. They are that thin because they restrict themselves for LONG periods of time. Anyone can have a pizza and it will do nothing. I had 2 extra large the other wekk in 3 days (I'm 38) and NOTHING happened. It trakes time and a lot of excess calories to gain actual fat (n0t water) .... but yeah it seems you are just another of thos 'influencers' who spout bile

There is tons of science-based information about nutrition on the internet. If someone wants to copy someone else instead of doing the work of LEARNING, then they deserve the consequences. Influencers have the right to share what they eat in a day just like a fashion influencer can share what they wore. That doesn't mean people should run to get the same exact pieces in the same exact sizes, colors and shapes.
every fitness celebrity influencer is lying to you..
