Lex Parsimoniae And it's an utter myth, based on zero evidence and propagated by fear-mongering Blairites, that this wouldn't be the case under Corbyn. Labour need to bring back the people who left during Blair's steady shift to the right between 1997 and 2010. Kendall is exactly what people don't want (a red Tory) and that's reflected in her polling miles behind the other 3 candidates. She's the closest thing in the party to the Tories, so I wouldn't call her an antidote. If people want a Tory, they'll vote for the Tories.

Politics runs in cycles and people a getting wise to the Thatcher legacy and seeing that ordinary people have lost out... No secure jobs, wages fallen against inflation, no homes to rent, high rents, no prospect of owning a home, expensive privatised services, prohibitive education costs, afraid that health care will be inaccessible. People are beginning to see that life in Britain before Thatcher and Blair was actually a whole lot better with Unions and real Labour governments looking out for ordinary people.
