Thank you , Nicole 😘😘😘😘. Kyoto is an amazing place full of culture and history; and this Ritz Carlton has been on my list for a while , I was so happy I could finally stay there, it was a fantastic experience specially with the red leaves and Christmas decorations ☺️☺️☺️☺️

Japan is such a beautiful place to visit. The bright orange and yellow flowers, especially during certain seasons, are amazing to see. Along with the relaxing and luxurious resorts, it’s easy to understand why so many people want to go there. Seeing this mix of nature and comfort really makes me want to visit Japan soon. My family and I are planning to go back to Taiwan again this December, and maybe Japan too, if it’s not too cold.

I had a lot of yummy Japanese food during my visit and there are still a lot more I haven’t tried. Looking forward to visiting Kyoto again 😄😄😄. I may also visit Taipei again in December . 😬😬😬

We had the pleasure of staying at the Park Hyatt Kyoto in Spring of 2023. We have not visited the Ritz Carlton Kyoto. Which did you prefer, the PH or Ritz Carlton?

It is hard to say as the overall experience can be different depending on if there is a good room upgrade and what type of room you will get. I got a really nice complementary upgrade at Ritz Carlton for a suite with river view, but for Park Hyatt I had to pay in advance to security the deluxe king view room that I wanted because that one is always sold out. For location , I ritz is better during cherry blossom season as you will be able to see it on the river side.
