This song is beautiful. I went on a trip with my women friends this past summer, leaving the babes at home with the daddies, and we went to Rising Appalachia in Cumberland. On the way home, we stopped by the river on Van Isle, and found a secluded spot where the sunshine sparkled on the flowing water, where the large rock was warmed and perfect for our bodies to stretch out, forehead down, hearing nothing of the noise in our minds and let the rushing water take away all the stress. We each became quiet, found our own healing and it was all thanks to the healing waters. Thank you for this song, as it takes me back to that gorgeous summer day with my beautiful friends and I'm reminded of how important self care is.

Exquisite! I live on the banks of the Yarra River, adjoining a State Park, and we sing this song in our local Choir. It lifts my heart. The other day our soloist sang it at my beloved husband's Celebration of Life and Burial Ceremony on a hillside in a local bushland cemetery. I always sing this to myself when I need soothing and it works! Thank you for this amazingly deep and beautiful song, My husband loved the River so much, he would love knowing this song was sung to farewell him as people were invited to 'pelt him with flowers' as a loving farewell when he was lowered in his cotton shroud to the bottom of his eucalyptus leaf lined grave. When it's my turn I'll request this song tool🤩

Pat Henman... Hi Pat! So sorry for the delay. I'll be coming through Nelson in November. I've booked the Capitol Theatre for Nov 16. I was thinking of perhaps building a volunteer pop up choir for that concert.
