Joe im not digging the rule change again and i say again because im a 1 handed thumbless bowler, been that way since 1990 and a few years ago they outlawed my stuff if i had a thumb hole and a weight hole so i bought all new stuff for that rule change, now they are taking away the weight hole or the thumb hole in my stuff, i just get my reactions where i wont them and now i have to start all over again and im not rich where i can just go buy a ball anytime i want. In my eyes a ball that is statically legal is legal no matter how you throw it. I tried to talk to usbc about it because you can take a finger out of a hole and thats ok but not a thumb. They said taking thumb out changes roll and i said so does a finger!

@@speedwolf5212 Brunswick did not get any real estate or plants in the deal, just the IP. EBI shut down the manufacturing locations.
@deadpolymers34165 жыл бұрын
@@speedwolf5212 Brunswick doesn't own the Kentucky plant, and didn't employ the workers there. EBI still owns the plant, and EBI fired those workers. Brunswick shares none of the blame on that account. Brunswick can't exactly keep the Kentucky plant open, when they don't own it. If EBI wanted to keep those people employed, they would have sold to someone who was willing to buy the plant.

@@kylemoore7866 I understand that a lot of people lost their jobs, but everyone seems to be blaming Brunswick. EBI was either going to go out of business, or they were going to sell... either way everyone was going to lose their jobs.

Yea it’s crazy . From what I hear, EBI was shutting down no matter what. So Brunswick bought them to save the brands. Unfortunately They will be produced in Mexico which the jobs won’t be hear but they weren’t going to be anyways if Brunswick didn’t buy them. So I don’t get why so many people are upset with Brunswick. Ebi was closing there doors no matter what the jobs would have been lost no matter what. Brunswick is keeping the brands alive instead of being no more.
@terrastallons54865 жыл бұрын
Njorg Njorg Being a former ebonite employee one of the ones that lost their job 2 years ago we were told that we were going to buy Brunswick. So if the doors were closing we had no clue. We were treated like nothing like criminals weren’t allowed to clean out our lockers or nothing until almost 2 weeks later. Anyone commenting on this has no idea how horrible this was to so many families. We gave our all to make this company the best it could be many of us have been there over 20 years and now we have nothing. Brunswick doesn’t care about what happened to us. 171 employees lost there jobs with no noticed and a huge question marks hangs over those 171 now non-employed people. It’s a sad hard time here in Hopkinsville.
@terrastallons54865 жыл бұрын
I just don’t understand how it went from ebonite is buying Brunswick to hey we sold your job is going to Mexico and sorry but time to find another job 2 weeks before thanksgiving l.
@njorgnjorg60575 жыл бұрын
terra stallons I understand where your coming from and it dose suck that those people lost there jobs including yourself. I never wish that on anybody and wish the best of luck in the future for those who have. But about not being told about the buyout and being treated like criminals like you said, wouldn’t that be on ebonite not Brunswick. Ebonite should have told there employees and made arrangements with them not Brunswick. There the ones who didn’t keep there financials In Order and had to close down not Brunswick. That’s isn’t Brunswick’s foult. So to say they don’t care is a little harsh. It takes way longer for a company to buy another then Two weeks so ebonite has plenty of time to take care of there employees rather then keeping them in the dark. I hope they received a severance from ebonite. So I don’t understand why people are pissed at Brunswick. What did they do other then buying a company that was going to unfortunately shut there doors. Like I said before it sucks that these people lost there jobs and I hope them the best.
