Im in Florida, and I've been stuck at 9lbs & 8oz for literally 27 years. It's not that I haven't been hooked up on bigger fish, I've had a couple of teeners and multiple double digits on the line. I just didn't get them to the boat. It's harder than than you think to get that DD. I've had people on my boat that it was their first time bass fishing, and I put them on fish. When we got them to the boat, they were double digits. I took my wifes uncle out, put him on a fish that I had been watching for about a week. He sets the hook, and we get it to the boat. It was 13lbs 4oz. But I'm not discouraged. I'm still on the hunt.
