Watching the group stage it makes me wonder if Aqua was hamstrung by how easily she won her group. Meanwhile Suisei had to deal with Okayu and others who were just as skilled as her. It's easy to lose your edge when there's nobody at your heels until the finals.
@alistairwilliams90744 жыл бұрын
Good analysis. Aqua is like a serial champion in decent league while Suisei is a decent team in a tough league. Probably Aqua didn't know how to respond while falling behind when it really matters (that last sprint in the 2nd race was one of her downfalls) while Suisei knew. Luck & Noel's shell did help Suisei, but I don't think Suisei never lose her composure. I watch a lot of sports & this is as exciting. Credit to Marine too. She finished 4th in the qualifications but ended up 3rd overall. She definitely deserve to brag, celebrate & gloat. Thank you for the upload, compilation & translation, IonXepH 👍
@blazefactor68494 жыл бұрын
@@alistairwilliams9074 I really disagree with this analysis personally, in a lot of ways Aqua played around other players very well. After watching 90% of both of their perspectives, it seemed to me like Aqua lost less due to falling apart in bad situations and more due to a bit of luck and choking at bad times. While Aqua overall seemed to have cleaner play than Suisei, she tended to choke or get stopped at really unfortunate times, which is something that can happen to anyone. A single mistake in a lobby full of players around your skill level can screw up your chances in one go, and although Aqua tried to mitigate it as much as possible, it's not something you can always handle. Suisei had some rough spots in her play, but she didn't many too many mistakes in crucial positions, which led to her being able to sneak by pretty well.
