The Road to Resilient Public Health Systems: People-Centered Approach to Strengthening Preparedness

MSH hosted a webinar in September 2023 to spotlight the achievements of the Leading and Managing for Results in Pandemics (LMRP) program, a team-based, experiential learning initiative designed in collaboration with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to enhance public health emergency preparedness and response. It has been successfully implemented in Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Peru, Rwanda, and Uganda.
The webinar featured representatives from each country team sharing their experience participating in the LMRP program and discussing its value for strengthening leadership and management practices within a public health emergency response. The webinar also highlighted collective quantitative and qualitative results gathered from the program’s evaluation.
