Yay a new upload! I'm sorry you didn't feel welcomed in the beginning :( I'm so excited for you! How are the students at UCLA? Are they friendly? I've always been afraid that it would be hard to make friends as a transfer student because everyone makes their friends in freshmen year, and not in junior year. But I guess transfer students generally stick with other transfer students!

Hey Maggie! Great to hear from you. The early check in process was rough but thankfully the weekend got better as it went on. The orientation for transfer students was only one day and it was pretty much completely scheduled for us so I didn't really get much of an opportunity to talk to anyone. The room mate that I had was really sweet, though I only got spend a couple of hours with her. The other part that made it a little difficult to socialize was that the students in my group were also linguistics majors so it seemed like a limited pool of people. I would be interested to meet others with a more diverse background and not be restricted to my own major. I am sure I will do plenty of that this upcoming fall. My new student advisor is the same age as me and we actually both are from the same part of California so it was nice to meet someone with that in common. She seemed pretty cool too. Overall it was a good experience and I'm really excited for the school year and to share it with my amazing subscribers, like you 😀Hope you're well and thanks for watching/commenting!

@@gabe5225 It ends as soon as you are done registering for classes. If I remember correctly, class enrollment was 630 and I headed home at around 645

Yes, orientation is mandatory.
