Hey Jay!!! Love your videos!!! It's great watching the Wayfinders Pack grow in size and power!!! Little tip: To save time in case you may need to hunt or grow pack affinity, instead of finding each and every scent post on each hex to make the claim 100% again, you can simply just move it!! Just enter the hex and mark territory twice in the same spot like you would do in the Establish Your Territory quest. It moves the scent post where ever you marked and makes the claim 100% again! @JayPlays535 i tried it closer to the end of growing pups. I think coyotes might be an issue. But having the pups eat off carcasses right after you take them down is amazing. Drop them off. Drop a marker. Get the elk. Then bring the pups to the carcass saves a ton of time

To answer your question, in my experience after taking out both pairs of pack leaders in Crevice Lake and Junction Butte, both packs disbanded and two new ones took their places, however that was my first time experiencing that with the Public Beta. I don't know if it does that all the time though.

Pup name Ideas: For 2033 M: Kian, Kian is a name of Persian origin that means "king" or "warrior" and "survivor" since he is sick badly. He has a chance so be a survivor. !!CHALLENGE IDEA!! Challange, have a wolf that is bold like Aretha perhaps want to have a LARGE territory. This means you must have at least 25+ hex's and at least be the 2nd biggest territory on the map. If you get a hex invasion or an attack by stranger wolves you must roll a dice to see how much hex's you must steal from them in return. If you bold you can kill both pack leaders in order to keep the competition down for pups and claim that territory since that pack is no longer a survivor. A wolf life Aretha that loves hunting must have at least 2 elk herds within her territory. You must also only kill the larger animals or animals with full health if they are an Elk, or calf. Because the more health the better meat. You must also greatly damage a wolf, or somewhat of a threat if you see them and see them as threatening. And if you get a coyote attack you must either kill them or chase them off 5 hex's or more away. You may lose hex's if you wish but by the end of the year your pack must be known as the dangerous pack for no stranger wolves. And a pack with 25+ hexes. This must be done on accurate\challenging mode. !!!CHALLENE IDEA!!

23:43 *whistles innocently* Im many years in by now (on my fifth litter in total, fourth in the saga) and I have a multiple strike system for stranger wolves. Which means I saw a bunch of new packs come and go as they kept attacking the den and one or both leaders ended up falling to the three strike rule - or killing a pup which awards three strikes instantly. Once the remeining leader of a pack even hung out for a bit, trying to court my sons (sadly none were interested, would have been a fun story). I already decided that my wolf will not be as harsh to any pack his kids found or join, but so far my dispersals left the map, even the one who dispersed with a mate.

Thank you! And in most cases beta saves should carry over just fine, the one exception would be if a breaking bug shows up and causes an issue with save data. But that's not really all that common by public beta, so it's a pretty unlikely case. Have a great day too! :)

I think Agate would be a nice name for 2036F, as agate is generally more Orange toned, (And compared to the rest of the family so far she kind of sticks out, Besides Aretha XD) Other than that I agree with the other comment or that Coal would be a nice name, As would Crow (To match Raven) Rain (After the Black rain frog Native to South Africa) Badger (Perhaps for 2037 M, who seems keen to play, perhaps hinting towards a More Hunting/Fighting adept wolf)

Coyote creek is vicious, today when i was playing they're territory was so low i though they had disbanded then they suddenly began expanding so much i think they killed off the cottonwood creek pack judging by the known wolves.

I think Crow for 37M because he is a darker coat like his mother Raven and I think it would be a cute name for him Cascade for 35F (because of her love of water and she discovered that love when you moved dens near the waterfall just before the journey to the summer hunting grounds) Velocity for 36f because when you were spending time with 35f she was running all around and chasing everyone so I think a speedy name would suit her Stoic for 33M because i feel like he has been a very easy keeper and has a more calm and serious attitude

I definitely think he felt a bit bad about it, but sometimes experience itself is a good teacher. In some ways she's already gotten a natural consequence for her recklessness haha. But I think he was definitely nervous at how low she got on health during that hunt! It might be a little while before he's quick to let her take the lead again, but I think he's also hoping the way things panned out will be a lesson in their own right.

Thought that too. The game Im playing Saga in only had 1 surviving first litter pup and she left at 3,5. I almost wonder if early litter pups stay around longer. The beta works great! I’m on litter 3 of one of my wolves in challenging. It’s really easy to access the saga. On the WolfQuest screen before you hit play on steam, go to manage (it should be the little settings icon next to achievements) Next you are going to click properties. You should see “betas” as the fourth option and just click on that. Then on your screen you should see beta participation and the little thing next to it, just click that. Then you can opt into beta. Hope that helps!
