Your dead eye isn't broken its been upgraded to painting targets it told you to paint them with right bumper. Also remember to use tonics and clean your weapons.

Good point about unlocking things for Arthur. I would play the main quest up until when you unlock the fence(black market) , option to sell stolen wagons, sell stolen horses, the trapper, all fishing bait, ability to craft poison arrows(needed for perfect wolf pelts) , new weapons, ect.... . When you got everything unlocked, then hit the brakes on the main story to do whatever.

"I had Yarrow?" Yes you did. Hosea gave you Yarrow and Ginseng on the way to Horseshoe Ranch. "I got dishonor for that?" Yes. Until an NPC is an "Enemy" you will get dishonor for killing them, even in stealth. You can always see an enemy in red on the map. If you run into someone in town and they get offended you will get dishonor if you attack them first but if they attack you or pull a gun on you they become an Enemy that you can murder without honor loss.

The issue with "Dead Eye", I'm sure someone mentioned this to you in these comments somewhere, but once you hit level 3 I think it is on Dead Eye, you have to manually mark the targets. I'm on mouse and keyboard, so you'll have to look up controller, but on M&K you enter Dead Eye and when on the target, you press "Q" to put an "X" on the target and lock on. Oh and no, I've researched and researched, there's no way to turn back on auto tagging... Best solution people have said is to reload a save file from before you leveled up. Watching you play made me buy the PC version, so I just found this out 3 or 4 days go.

yo! did you know if you tap your sprint button to be in line with the horse's gallop, you'll be more efficient with the stamina. Also, use the button that calms the horse down, when Arthur says, "C'mon boy". That will regenerate the horse's stamina by a little bit.

I remember when this game first came out back in 2018 I was sick in bed and I wasn’t able to physically get up and go by the game when it came out so I had to buy digital. And I felt like a little kid who stayed home from school sick playing video games. Woot more RDR2. Love this game. Watching you play makes me wanna play. Your vids have caught up to where I am at in my 2nd playthrough and its neat to see how the chain of events is slightly diffrerent based on each of our decisions. I got lucky w the oil wagon mission, they had one parked far away from any security guys. I just got on and drove away, middle ofnthe afternoon, and nobody noticed. I had to redo it cus I missed the drop off point and went down the road by that barn, and got stuck where I couldnt turn the wagon around.
