"He's not gonna admit that the actual levels are normal, that defeats the point" Then he shouldn't be trying to convince the viewers that THEY can go and play the levels themselves. Separate the alternate reality from the real reality. If YOU tell ME that Can't Let Go in MY game should look like a 2.1 glow level, and I go to play Can't Let Go and it's NOT a 2.1 glow level, then like??? I also think it's a little uncool just how hard he's trying to convince the readers that THEY'RE wrong. I've seen a couple people legitimately get mad on Twitter because they actually can't tell if this is real or not. End of the day it's just a neat story that I think has a couple flaws in the way it's being told. No harm done (for the most part) lol

I actually checked the accounts tweets and from what I could find, they seem to have been going on about this since at least December of last year. Which would honestly make sense considering how much detail these levels have, so it probably really did take whoever is behind these levels that long to make (or it could be multiple people working on this) Also, from what I can understand, it seems gas is acting like these levels have always existed, and that you can play them on the level select menu, not that they were lost or removed or anything. I’m honestly excited to see where this goes next. It’s very interesting. Also, asking Gas if it’s an ARG would not work as of course they are gonna say no. The point of an ARG is that you are interacting with the characters in their own world, so of course they are gonna claim that it isn’t an ARG and that what is happening is very real.

@@byeguyssry it hasn’t been fully explained but whenever gas has tried to post the official levels online, they would come out severely blurred or corrupted on an image or video. It seems that the copies of the levels seems to have fixed the issue, as recording these copied versions allows them to be seen clearly on image or video. Whether the reason for the blurred out posts will ever be revealed is not known.

Interesting, I didn't see the December tweets because Twitter just refused to load earlier than March 2023 for some reason. But yes, he's acting as though these levels always were there, and I assumed he wouldn't say its an ARG, but I was hoping he'd atleast tell me what he'd call it then. Even in his world, he's acting as though there's something weird going on with the misrepresentation of the official levels, so what would he call that then?

@@sdslayer100 that I’m not really sure of myself. I’m assuming they didn’t respond to you because they didn’t want to say anything that could potentially cause holes in the ARG. I’ve tried coaxing a few answers about some things myself, but it seems like they’re just selectively choosing what to answer and what not to answer, as to not risk giving out information that could hinder the scope of the ARG. Kinda off topic, but I even tried to ask a question about a link that I found near the end of the blast processing level in the editor. I got no answer, but it does make me think that there is maybe something in these levels that we have to look for. A lot of ARGs do this type of stuff so I wouldn’t be too surprised.

The most Interisting part of the arg for me its that is implied robtop made geometry dash all the way to update 2.1 in 2013, but he decided to slowly release the content of the game he aleady made in the following years, and only when 2.1 released, he Begin making the first update, 2.2, wich implies he is so lazy that he purpously post-poned 2.2 for 4 years, just to make the update and take 7 years to release. Thats just straight up making fun of real life robtop in an arg lol

Fun Fact! There's a more fitting name for these rather than ARG (people use that one way too much) and it's called Unfiction! It's when an author makes a story of like, an alternate world that is somewhat planned out but just goes along freeform with people being able to participate but not affect the story much, basically the author writing as he goes on about this version of the world they're envisioning. The difference between Unfiction and an ARG is that an ARG is often fully planned out beforehand and HAS to be interacted with for the story to progress, if there is not mandatory interaction to progress the story it's not considered an ARG, usually the interaction is with puzzles or even real life events.

For those who don’t quite understand the conspiracy or what the “reverse Mandela effect” means: According to this guy, the levels he uploaded as copies are actually the RobTop levels, and you can access them by playing the game as you would play the main levels normally. The problem is, every piece of media regarding the main levels actually contains what we all know them as, which is apparently skeletal unfinished layouts. This makes it so when we actually play the main levels, instead of seeing what they really are, we see the “unfinished layouts” we’re all familiar with. This phenomenon extends to blurring images of the real levels, in occurrences when people are able to see the levels for what they are. In short: In this version of GD, this guy’s Stereo Madness actually appears when you try to play the main level, but you only remember it as Robtop’s version.

These are definitely fake. Cause Stereo Madness is literally much harder for the first level of the game, and it uses slopes which didn't even come out until 1.8 I think. Glow wasn't even in the editor back then either. I agree that it doesn't make sense for Rob to delete everything or put everything in piece by piece cause we're getting a shitload of stuff for 2.2 and we all know it was just the yellow orb, gravity portals, cube, and ship in 1.0
