You need a specific version of the disc that doesn't have title update 5 built into it. It's as simple as running the song through a couple programs and using a USB drive to put em on your console, no mods needed. There are some tutorials online that show you exactly what you need to do for RB3 customs on Xbox, it's pretty easy. :)

9:29 ok serious question. doesn't 30nps require a strum input every other frame with frame perfect precision? how does a raking guitar do that?

The guitar consistently raked for a short time not to mention there are hopos in the strumming and the way that works plus over strum protection 30NPS strumming is barely possible. The strum limit is around 35NPS or a little higher before the notes are so condensed they become unhittable by the games shrinking hit window. As far as what you mean by a raking guitar i'm not sure but it's pretty self explanatory for someone that's been around the community.

@@TheAcezero12078 i mean the input timing. i thought that in every other game, anything higher than 30 inputs for second wouldn't register because two inputs directly next to each other with no frames in between, would count as a held input. so if my understanding is right, would that mean that 30nps strumming would have to be frame perfect to work? and this is more concerning because raking guitars, when raking have the inputs close together, making that frame perfect thing hard to do. but i did just realize that the second strum of a flick happens with the release, so if a technique existed that controlled the release, the inputs could be spaced better;-;
