The Rock's run in the WWF/WWE is one of the best run in company's history. His 1999-2001 run is the best run of his career. Classic promos, moments, and matches happened during that run.

There is the little rumor going around that he's coming back at Survivor Series in NY to build to WM38 against Roman to finish the HOT story, but we'll see how that goes; his GREATEST title match to me was his Iron Man Match against HHH at JD 2000 (there's leaked footage of their rehearsal which is incredible) although WM 17 vs Austin and Backlash 2000 vs HHH are all-time classics as well. I think his legacy is that he got over because of the fans and was the only guy that could even begin to rival Austin or HHH in the ring or on the mic. They fit together seamlessly and it's a damn shame we didn't get the triple threat at Survivor Series in '99 because of Austin's surgery.

I ain't gonna lie I kinda liked how the fans booed the rock at summerslam for him leaving since he criticized austin a couple months earlier then they turned him heel once he returned. That's how wrestling should be sometimes let the fans pick who's face and heel

Hollywood rock was awesome the heel promos he cut were some of my favorite promos he ever cut that rock concert the 1st one was amazing because it showed how good of a heel he was and how charasmatic he was.

Being from Tampa my favorite Hollywood Rock moment is when he trashed Philadelphia after the Bucs beat them for the NFC championship in 2003 saying that he doesn't want any Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches, he wants "Tampa Bay Tofu." It would have been better if he said he wanted a Cuban sandwich from Tampa Bay since we have a big Cuban/Puerto Rican demographic

2 questions: Without the Evolution vs Rock and Sock Connection feud going into WM20 how would it have directly affected Randy Orton's heel IC reign? Is it possible that we might never gotten the Cactus Jack vs Orton hardcore match at Backlash and the reign wouldn't be as memorable? If Rock's current status about him being "retired" or "not retired" from wrestling what prior hall of fame ceremony would have been the perfect spot for him to be inducted? By the way Hollywood Rock I felt for the time was about 5-10 years ahead of the time and some of the zingers I remember remind me of some of the zingers to a degree that Jericho would pull in the current Inner Circle/ATT feud going into Full Gear 2021.

1. We would have gotten Foley/Orton at some point; I think a big reason they did RNS/Evolution at Mania was because Foley wasn't ready to do a 1 on 1 match just yet 2. 2012 would have been perfect given they were in Miami(but that was the year he was wrestling). So outside of that maybe 2015 or 2019.

The Rock vs Hollywood Hogan should have main evented WrestleMania X8 but Triple H decided that his match should go on last-uhhh and it was a big mistake which WWE did it again seven years later when Triple H’s match main evented WrestleMania 25 instead of his buddy Shawn Michaels’ classic war against The Undertaker

I think in both cases everyone was told "championship goes last"; which is a stupid mindset Whatever is the biggest match should go last; which is why Rock/Cena I at 28 was the Main Event

I don’t think the Rock coming back to wrestling the Rock is retired from pro wrestling the Rock have great career in wrestling my favorite Rock wrestling match wrestler stone cold at wrestlemania 15 and wrestlemania 19 and wrestling with hulk Hogan at wrestlemania 18 is great moment in wrestling this is the biggest wrestling icon vs icon in wrestling history Hollywood hulk Hogan vs the Rock at wrestlemania 18 and at no way out the Rock he don’t coming back to pro wrestling the Rock is retired from pro wrestling yes the Rock go in the WWE Hall of Fame one day but one more wrestling match with roman reigns at wrestlemania 39
