The one thing Rock's absence has exposed is that Cody's story wouldn't have been nearly as interesting had Rock not tried to take his spot. Cody is so boring, and the 2 feuds he's had are proof of this. Until the Cody vs Rock feud happens, whether it's before Wrestlemania 41 or at Wrestlemania 41, why should anyone be invested in this title run?

You even acknowledge the fact that it was going to happen against Seth, meaning there is no way that it would happen against Roman, because if it would, the rock wouldn't have returned to challenge Roman. Two situations where the rock challenging Roman reigns would not be possible if cm punk wasn't injured: Cody challenges roman or punk challenges roman, so Cody can run the wwe championship and punk can main event WrestleMania we the fans knew that the next choice for Seth to face at WrestleMania was drew McIntyre, and we also knew that Cody was bound to beat Roman reigns. When I heard the Rock was coming back and he instantly inserted himself into the main event of Wrestlemania ,I wasn’t happy about that at all! Cody was the workhorse and he deserved that spot! The Real Tribal Chief Rock v1 was probably his best work ever! His promos and fits were white hot haha! And oh yeah the trail of Easter egg he laid out were also OP! Alfred make more of these 🔥 DOCs, I can’t get enough of them!
