Well I don’t think that counts because they couldn’t have known what the mics would pick up, especially with them censoring a lot of it. I think he’s referring to how no one has cut a promo or said anything explicitly to the wwe audience that the rock is on the board. Even though we know, they haven’t said it “in universe” which means it’s not “cannon” yet so to speak.

But he could’ve been talking about Roman Reigns since he “sits” at the head of the table. And Roman said at the press conference that now he will make the decision on who he faces at mania which he chose the rock. So Triple H saying “I make the decisions” and saying that Roman is facing Cody could mean he was talking about Roman. Again all I’m saying is, we as fans, know a lot. But unless they explicitly say something, then nothing is confirmed.

Here are some wrinkles that I want to see: 1. The Rock appoints himself special guest referee for the Roman/Cody match. HHH comes out and says he's already chosen Stone Cold as the special guest referee. Stone Cold beats Rock in the main event of WrestleMania Night 1 to earn the special referee spot. 2. Stone Cold calls the match down the middle. He fights off interference by Jimmy and Solo. He then takes a ref bump, allowing the Rock to Rock Bottom Cody. He then holds up Cody for Roman to spear him. Cody moves at the last minute and Rock get speared out of the ring. Cody hits a Cody Cutter and 3 Cross Rhodes. Stone Cold comes to and counts the pin. This ending starts a slow burn of dissention between Rock and Roman 3. HHH is jumped by the Bloodline in the locker room. All you hear is someone getting beat up from outside the locker room (similar to Batista beating up Ric Flair in the locker room). 4. The Bloodline can jump Adam Pearce and Nick Aldi's because they are HHH's guys. 5. Some wrestlers can align themselves with HHH in his power struggle with Rock and then turn out to be a mole 6. Roman can lose his rematch with Cody and also suffer the pin at War Games. Rock can blame him. Rock can treat Roman like Roman treated Jey 7. Jey can eliminate Roman at the end of the Royal Rumble and chooses to challenge for the World Title by Gunther. Gunter lost the IC title to Sami at WrestleMania 40, but then won the title after winning Money in the Bank. 8. Roman not winning the Royal Rumble serves as the breaking point of his relationship with Rock. Rock berates him in the following Smackdown and smacks him. Roman over the months has been so beaten down psychologically by Rock that he finally fights back. Roman becomes the huge face WWE always wanted him to be ("the long game"). This sets up Rock/Roman at Night 2 of WrestleMania 41. High Chief vs. Tribal Chief. Winner must retire. WrestleMania ends with Jey (who won the World Title in Night 1) and Roman reunited hugging.

Though a Board Member of a company technically is higher than officers of a company they don't have individual power the way an officer does. For a board member to get anything done he would have to get a meeting held and have a vote in their favor. Triple H can get so much shit done before the Rock can even get an agreement for one of the things he want done

I LOVE the idea of Randy Orton vs The Rock but imagine a scenario where TKO / Board of Directors steps in and says "Triple H, we can't have you being biased and choosing someone in TKO's roster to face The Rock", setting up for either a potential return / debut OR Aldis vs The Rock. Also Santos Escobar, Angel Garza. Now we have the returning Andrade who had a dominant OG NXT run and hopefully can be successful in his second main roster tenure, and also this year, hopefully Cameron Grimes can get more TV time. For the women, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley to name a few. The list is endless. And soon to make his main roster debut, Bron Breakker who Hunter likes and has been making RAW & SmackDown appearances, and possibly moving up to the main roster soon, Carmelo Hayes* and Roxanne Perez*. Please correct me if I’m missing any names. *they are people Triple H endorsed even with Shawn Michaels now running NXT, with the latter having also been praised publicly by her trainer, Booker T himself.

Seth Rollins (He's already seen as possibly being apart of this whole angle, has always been a Triple H guy, another obvious choice.) Jey Uso (Has already had heat with Roman and now has been partially broughten back into this whole angle) Randy Orton (Literally Paul's right hand man in the ring, basically brought him from the ground up. He's gonna be apart of this team 1000%) These next few guys can all possibly be apart of the team, but just depends on who is available and makes the most sense. Logan Paul (Clearly Triple H likes him, he's supported Cody on Twitter as well, had beef with The Rock, this is the most likely outcome. Seth and Logan have had a nasty feud in the past, but just like with Cody, Rollins will coexist with Logan if its for the greater good) John Cena (Lives and breathes WWE, has always respected Triple H not only as an authority figure now but also as a competitor, has had feuds with the Bloodline, this makes sense though could fall through due to Cena being a super part-timer) Sami Zayn (Easy choice as well, Triple H guy and has had a long feud with The Bloodline in the past.
