Great vid, I do definitely agree Green has been inconsistent and hasn’t had the best fit with this team as of recent. But at :08 you showed a screenshot of last games minutes for him. He was questionable on that game as well as the one before with an illness. So that also has to do with the minutes going down as of recent and on top his play hasn’t been efficient at all. I do agree his minutes will be going down if this keeps up when the team knows he’s fully healed. But he did have the illness which I believe should have been stated as well on why his minutes was drastically dropped to 22-23 last game with which the screenshot inferred it was dropped purely off of play. He’s played bad but he still played 30 min the game before with an illness too and both games he prolly shouldn’t have played but he has to play to keep the position from other players. Ton of pressure on him I hope he can be efficient cuz that’s all he got is scoring.

My dreams are haunted by the idea of Thompson, Eason, Mobley just swarming people defensively

I think it's his upper body strength. he creates a good amount of space and can jump really high so his lower body seems fine, but his upper body looks thin for an nba player. There's other players his height that are just stronger upper body wise

He’s getting used to not playing at 100% speed ..the game changes a lot in real time . Yeah he’s slumping yeah he got benched but I do see progress and he’s not making the same mistakes from last year he should improve I wouldn’t panic yet his development will definitely take time though

Yes it affects his finishing

@@Kadri.762 he is a skilled player and I have no issue with him but he’s been in the league like 3-4 years . Best of luck though he can still figure it out

Udoka is helping Green become a all around player and all yall are focused on is his scoring......the Rockets are on top in the west. All i see is a bunch of casuals.

EXACTLYYYY! Just a bunch of clueless casuals. Real Rockets fan know why all the young core are struggling offensively rn. Their record and defensive ranking says the whole story.

ive seen Jalen air ball more times than he gets a clean 3.
@Blue-no4jt2 күн бұрын
Jalen is doing fine. You need a guy like him. Worst case scenario he will be a 6th man, which is fine.
@jsdzx2 күн бұрын
Historically I’ve been super critical of him. But first we jumping the gun on this team in itself. We need to make the playoffs and then start seeing where you want to go. Guys are stepping up but come playoff time you need someone dynamic. If he can tap into that late energy that’s what you have to have come playoffs. A bunch of energy guys won’t get it done.
@borntokilldiaz2 күн бұрын
No, it doesn't take FOUR years to "jump the gun". Dude gets absolutely babied way too hard, we are trying to make the playoffs. Not develop a 4th year #2 overall pick

I really hate the Rockets rebuild in recent years. I thought they should have continued on the youth movement. Hated that they brought FVV/Dillion and hated that they committed to Sengun/Jalen long term. I think they would have been better off building a team off Reed/Cam/Tari/Amen/Jabari and then work from there. I don't think this squad will develop their young guys to the max or get them a title. So I hate this rebuild

sure his contract looks huge but with inflation and salary cap increase the contract really isnt that big. he isnt a max player and plays like he isnt a max player its really no biggy at worst we trade him.
