Honestly people need to realize Udoka is basically reworking JG bc of all the bad habits he didnt fix during Silas era. This is technically his sophomore season (bc Im not counting the 2 years he got wasted under Silas) and he already took a massive step on the defensive end and he is no longer a liability on defense. He is one of the most coachable kids in the league so I have no doubt he will improve later.

Great vid, I do definitely agree Green has been inconsistent and hasn’t had the best fit with this team as of recent. But at :08 you showed a screenshot of last games minutes for him. He was questionable on that game as well as the one before with an illness. So that also has to do with the minutes going down as of recent and on top his play hasn’t been efficient at all. I do agree his minutes will be going down if this keeps up when the team knows he’s fully healed. But he did have the illness which I believe should have been stated as well on why his minutes was drastically dropped to 22-23 last game with which the screenshot inferred it was dropped purely off of play. He’s played bad but he still played 30 min the game before with an illness too and both games he prolly shouldn’t have played but he has to play to keep the position from other players. Ton of pressure on him I hope he can be efficient cuz that’s all he got is scoring.

Everyone knows Jalen is not consistent with the 3 but he's one of the most explosive players in the league, a very strong cutter who played extremely well in the 2nd half of the last season WITH SENGUN OUT, with the paint open for him to attack the basket. With Sengun, Jalen is delegated into a spot up shooter, a total waste of his talent. If it doesn't work for him in Houston, he needs to go to a team where the star player isn't a big man.

Instead of a 4-5 year max, he got 102 for 3 years, which sounds like a lot but it's still rather moveable and he's not locked in for that many more years. 30-33 mil is just about the middle in terms of contract $$ seeing as max contracts are about 60 mil or so. so they gave him enough money to keep him around in case he still improves, and left enough room to get rid of him should he continue to not live up to it

Despite the game he had the night this video was released, I think the overall idea here is right. I would like to see them move him and Van Fleet while they still have value. Both those guys and a boat load of picks for Giannis. Let's gooooo

This video dropping the same day Green is balling out is ironic. I mostly agree but I do think that it's just a shooting slump. Green has had a few amazing nights already this season and he just needs to become more consistent.

Amen is more efficient and a way better defender. I wonder if Amen's game could scale up by just giving him Green's shots?

Amen is not that kind of player. He's more of an opportunistic type of scorer. Transition, o-boards, dunker spot, cuts, rolling, etc. You can't just tell him to get up more shots.

Rox wont have Amen and Jabari if you take Mobley. They wont even have Sengun as the reason they took Sengun is because they didn't take Mobley. Rox already had Cousins and Christian Wood at the time and they were planning to draft Usman Garuba. If they draft Mobley no 2 why would they get Sengun and have 5 big men on the team? 😂😂😂 Makes zero sense.

I think it's his upper body strength. he creates a good amount of space and can jump really high so his lower body seems fine, but his upper body looks thin for an nba player. There's other players his height that are just stronger upper body wise

Historically I’ve been super critical of him. But first we jumping the gun on this team in itself. We need to make the playoffs and then start seeing where you want to go. Guys are stepping up but come playoff time you need someone dynamic. If he can tap into that late energy that’s what you have to have come playoffs. A bunch of energy guys won’t get it done.

I really hate the Rockets rebuild in recent years. I thought they should have continued on the youth movement. Hated that they brought FVV/Dillion and hated that they committed to Sengun/Jalen long term. I think they would have been better off building a team off Reed/Cam/Tari/Amen/Jabari and then work from there. I don't think this squad will develop their young guys to the max or get them a title. So I hate this rebuild
