Solomon Powers is the most ornery looking individual I have ever seen. The rock you showed at the 52:00 minute mark, I had taken a picture book out there and found that exact spot myself, it was very exciting to me. Fantastic video, loved every minute of it.

Tim Smith is in a class by himself----this is a wonderful presentation.....BUT, I would have enjoyed it even more had there been a current day shot to accompany ALL of these old photos.

How come the window rock just below the Warren monument on Little Round Top isn't an area of interest?

Did anyone take photos of the inscriptions at the war department before the chisels removed them?

I just finished painting the entire field view from seminary ridge, and would love to donate it to you guys ☺️, I love Gettysburg! Paid very good attention to detail of the rock formations, I'm a stickler for accuracy! Coming out soon from Lancaster county and can't wait! Also taking more reference pics for future battlefield painting's 💯

I was in that area in the late 70s with my two young sons....I had many of the old photos with me so I could match the photos to the rocks.....There was no way possible to line them up, so I knew they were mis cataloged. I didn't have a lot of time to stay but always wanted to go back and fix the errors.... I never made it back....

At the end of this presentation of which I really enjoyed, you guys mentioned the amount of artifacts from the battlefield you have in storage that you wish to do something with in the future. So are there plans in place to expand on the Gettysburg museum so that the public may see more of the treasures that were recovered from the battlefield and all the other items that were donated to the museum? I know that what is displayed is just a very small fraction of what is there to see....
